I am SOOOOO mooning Pogo help right now.  It isn't pretty.

Pogo had charged me twice for something I DIDN'T order. And at that - both charge amounts were different. So for this reason, I was in contact with "Pogo Chat" yesterday for approx. 2 hours.  After 45 minutes of wait time (and after the usual intro) in those 2 hours of chat time I'd say we typed back and forth 5 times.

All the time in between they were looking into my case, referring back to my info and screen shot, speaking with their specialist and pasting every possible link that had NOT ONE THING to do with my issue. Everything else was dead space.  Frankly, I was beginning to think EA has gone off to some ostracized foreign country and hired deadbeat zombies that have nowhere else to go and promised them warm beds. I had visions of frequent naps between bouts of mistyping and trying to think up more misguided direction to throw at me. Finally I put my aching head in my arms, X'd out of their chat box and simply settled the issue with my bank.

This morning I received one of their surveys they usually follow up with. I deleted that giving no chance of another migraine.  This is what happens when a company grows into a money grabbing Empire and becomes independent, uncaring and unreachable.
Never again, never, ever again!

I had to do that a few years ago. Pogo double billed me for gems (the 1,000 count package) and I couldn't get them to listen. They just kept saying "we don't refund on gems," but with a much heavier accent. I called PayPal and they credited me, no problem.

Wow Snow, how horribly frustrating! It's this sort of thing that brought me to this forum in the first place. I don't actually use autos, but I wanted to be able to interact with people without being treated like a child or lied to. I honestly swear at Pogo on pretty much a daily basis nowadays. And yes, I remember when they were good. I actually recall being one of those who told the Pogo poopers that they were under no obligation to play on the site, and if they were going to complain they should find someplace else to play. Wow. And here I am in that exact place, myself. But their help used to be helpful! And their games used to work! And there used to be a way to talk to a non-moron when problems arose!

I really am sorry for all that frustration you faced there. Just makes ya want to shriek sometimes, doesn't it? :(

Thanks POP, sure was frustrating to say the very least.
And about the old Pogo giving us the Subway gift .. I accidently put the wrong smiley face there ...
Because really ...  they DID listen and never took a cheap back seat on communication!

I really meant that smiley face to be representative of the old Pogo .. one like this    tumbsup.gif
