I've heard it could take a few days before your account is credited.

I shared a story and when I submitted the story, Bing/MS said it would be a few days before I got an email telling me my account has been credited.

Got my 500 story points today!  I also got a note from BING that my story curled their hair and gave them gooseflesh!  It's a juicy BING story.  hehehe
