I agree about Donathon. I was so surprised that James, who is so athletic looking, couldn't go further than 12 inches underwater. I know people have various reactions to water but contestants all know that they have to get in the water... I would practice if I had a problem. Losing that challenge was completely his fault.
I was so happy that Gonzalez was voted out. She was so rude, so entitled. Did you hear her attitude when she was exiting? Glad she's gone.
I think Jacob was a bit misguided in his approach. He wasn't a bad guy but his decisions led to his demise. I don't know how he thought that fake idol was going to be accepted by the others. He claimed to have such good skills at deception... uh... I don't think so. LOL
I like the premise of this new season... based on the bad decisions of seasons that came before. Should be interesting....
I was like wtf..when Jacob got mad because they sent Donathon and not him again...Jacob may have been a big fan but he didn't learn much from previous seasons...lol...I did miss what Gonzalez said....was it anything good???
She said one word.... "SAD"... but it was the way she said it. She was denigrating the other members of the tribe. It was said with disdain and LOTS of attitude.
You're so right about Jacob. For a super fan, he didn't appear to know how to play the game! Jacob was also afraid that if anyone else went to Ghost Island, his lies would be discovered. I think Jacob is super immature.

This season has had a good start so far.
No favorites yet but still time to see how things go.
I am so sick of this season... swear2.gif so many tribe swaps makes it all jumbled and hard to follow etc....Plus every challenge seems to be a puzzle...no physical or endurance...I may just give it up...I just don't get excited on Survivor nights any more... girls18.gif.
I admit I am not very interested this season. I was hoping GHOST Island would have more interesting things occurring. I am torn about the challenges. If they are too heavily weighted in strength, then the men have a big advantage over the women. If it's endurance, the women have an advantage for the most part. I like a little physical, a little endurance and a little brain power. With the starvation, poor rest, etc., the brain isn't as sharp as it could be, which makes some of the puzzles interesting to watch.
I agree, there have been so many swaps, divisions, 3 tribes, 2 tribes, 3 tribes, etc., I can't remember who was with whom and what the alliances are. I'll continue to watch but I'm not my usual eager self.
I don't even see a front runner yet. I do know that I want Chris gone. I hate overblown ego. A little humility goes a long way, imo.
Chris and Dom can both take their egos and go home...Nobody really gives me a reason to root for them....

I thought his rapping was a joke... until I saw he wasn't joking. I thought it was pathetic. He seems to me like a person who has felt entitled his entire life. I know people have trouble with Dom, too, but of the two of them, Dom is far better IMO.
I hated Chris. Thought he was arrogant and cocky and self centered. Glad he is gone.

These are, for the most part, young people. It seems they can't run 5 feet without getting winded and spent. At that age, I would have run circles around them. I am really not caring about this crowd very much although I will admit that Angela's eating feat is truly impressive. She downed all that HORRIBLE food like she was a starving linebacker. WTG, Angela, you should be very proud, you truly earned that immunity necklace.
I think Angela's military training got her through that challenge.........

I thought last night was a great show. I couldn't believe that Donathan was considering using the idol on Jenna. She was going to back stab him! I liked how they worked the double elimation; it shook things up a bit. Next week should be interesting.
I'm not sure I would have told everyone about the 2 votes. In this game, I'm always surprised how everyone thinks they should be privy to all information. That's not how it works. Her alliance might be peeved but if they had the extra vote, they probably would have kept quiet about it. You're probably right, Gran, Kellyn may now have a target on her back.
I would never reveal my idols or advantages either...but if you do hide things like kellyn did..better expect some distrust and payback when you get caught....If she jumps ship to Mololo side she will be at the bottom of that group and first to go...

Oh, sheesh, I can't even remember the ousted one's name. She was pretty formidable in the challenges, though, expecially for someone so petite. I hate to see the girls getting picked off one by one. Dom won the challenge and picked ONLY men to share the prize with. That would have ticked me off and I would try very hard to get an all-girl alliance going. Very often lines get drawn along sexual status and the girls are frequently not cutthroat enough to get the job done.
Sebastian won the challenge but anyway...The girls always turn on each other...and expecting Laurel to help you after you flat out admitted you voted her out...twice....I wouldn't trust her either....Chelsea is who went home...didn't even know her name till last week...hahaha hysterical.gif

You're right - Laurel would never trust Kellyn again. I felt bad for Kellyn when everyone was revealing whether they had the extra vote and she was forced to admit it was her. Some secrets can be held, others cannot. I felt bad that she had to show her hand.

I think we may be! I think Kellyn had no choice in fessing up. If she tried lying, she would have been found out almost instantly and it would have made things so much worse. Her reason for writing Laurel's name down on the votes was actually valid. It's just that no one wants to be the target and people take it so personally, like a real attack, when frequently it isn't. Let's face it, eventually everyone's a target until there's one survivor standing.

I really liked the way last nights show played out. It was great to see Dom squirm on that log. He is in his on his own island. I swear, he is! The competition where they had to run up and down those stairs and time the release of the spool at just the right time to catch it tired ME out just watching that one. It was a super hard challenge that I don't remember seeing before. I'm okay with the ending coming soon. And have my favorites. Hope one of them win. But with Survivor you just never know for sure. If the last 2 shows are as good as last night, I will be happy. tumbsup.gif

I am not sad about wendall winning but I think Dom had the better game and laurel had the hots for wendall so she voted for him. Just my opinion but I think Dom was the better player....
I agree. The moment I saw that the deciding vote was coming from Laurel, I knew that Wendell won. He did too. I thought Dom played a better game although Wendell definitely played - he wasn't a floater. I knew Laurel wasn't going to win.
Laurel never had a game to play..she just tagged along to be safe....Go back to old days of 2 finalists and 9 jurors...Survivor has always been..ties are broken by fire making...that's what would have been the most fair last night. I am very unhappy with last ights ending win but I will keep watching....I like the show even when I hate the outcome...lol...
I knew Wendell was going to win after Laurel had the deciding vote. He was a good player but I thought Dom had played the game better.
I so do wish that Dom would have taken his chances and did the fire challenge against Wendell.
Even if he did not win that way, it would have been a better ending if he lost that way.
I believe Sebastian was a good player also. But on the reunion show, his eyes made him look like he was high on drugs! Poor guy really got tricked by Dom and his idol speech.
I am glad we are done with this season. I did enjoy it but not as much as past seasons due to the Ghost Island Idol stuff. Seemed too fishy for me and took away from the game. Actually I had a hard time trying to figure out what idol did what when. no-no.gif
And I do not understand the $10,000 check to Dom. Good for him but why was that done in the first place? I hope this isn't the start of things to come.
