Zackly as Max said, you get ranks (and badges) based on tiles played. As far as the ratings go...we'll let you know as soon as they offer badges for ratings ;)
i play the 1000 game and im at T rank wow this is the best auto and getting the ranks fater gl all
I am on rank N without auto use yet- i am not allowed to buy anymore until I finish with the badges I currently have autos for :'(. But doing it manually isnt too bad yet- it is fairly easy. But I will get this auto as soon as I can -the trial was terrific and boy was I tempted to hit PAYPAL real quick- but a promise is a promise.
Best thing to do is run something like www.anagrammer.com and find words that way if you don't want to use an auto. I have been doing that and playing 1000 games.

when do u get your next badge im on silver t i let it run while i slept from 10am to 5:20 pm went from silver k to silver t :) i also noticed you get alot of tokens in this game i got 250,000 tokens while i slept
