I figured with the recent video game thread it would be interesting to see what method people use to get their games. ;)
For me, if the price tag is over $40 bucks, I wait till I can buy it used, or I rent and re-rent to get my fix. I have to admit though, there are some titles out there and coming out that I will snatch up NO MATTER the dang price, IE: GTA-San Andreas. Hey Homer, have u played God of War yet? I'm gonna rent it for this weekend! O0

I will buy it...but not new, I normally check yard sales, flea markets, and ebay. There's nothing like coming home with 5 games for 20 bucks.
If it's a pacman world type game that I can beat in a day I'll rent it. If it's a Final Fantasy type RPG it's a sure buyer. I usually won't buy them new. I always hit up the 'video game' retail stores or blockbuster used sale copies.
Well I can tell you don't buy Xenosaga 2. If you must play it. Rent it. Not worth the purchase price.
Hopefully Bloodrayne 2 will be better. ;)
Hey all, I rented God Of War for the week, since I had a tooth extracted today, I'll be indoors all weekend sipping on water and broth :'( anyways, I just wanted to let u all know how freakin awesome this game is so far---if u like lots of blood---it has it O0 O0 O0, Homer--I highly suggest u rent this one----I am so into it right now---I almost forgot about GTA San Andreas!! HAGN all---I gotta get back to hacking and slashing my way thru ancient Athens!!! Woo Hoo!! 8) 8)

I know that girl--cant remember the name of the show either??? I have hair just like hers, except mine is RED and spikey-lol. I like X-Play cause i love their hosts Adam and Morgan, they also have a hilarious segment called "it came from X-box Live" where they actually record some of the crazy crap people say while playing on x-box live and play it back with animations!!! It is too funny for words!!

Got any tips for someone having trouble passing flight school in GTA San Andreas?
OK--- Homer I found a small secret for getting ur pilot's license by breaking into Los Santos airport. Head over to the man in the little building outside of the airport. He's the guy that says "Only people holding a valid pilots license may enter!" Park ANY car in front of the building he is in. Now, jump on top of this car and leap towards the building. If you do this correctly, CJ will grab onto it. Pull yourself up and enter the airport. Just enter a plane and you can hit the friendly skies. I hope this is what u need. Let me know if this helps, since you dont have to enter any codes to accomplish this, it shouldnt corrupt ur save file, just an FYI. OH BTW--u are gonna love God Of War, I am almost done and I am gonna buy it used so i can play it again on the highest diff level(GOD)!!

I already did the flight school once. (Actually a friend did it. :P) Then I did a few missions with the chopper and now I have to go through flight school again. :'( I'm gonna ask my friend to do it again but he's probably not going to be happy about it. LOL
I hate the plane they give you. It handles like crap. :( That causes me to miss the coronas and fail flight school. :'(
They do have a super tight handling cheat, never tried it on the planes or choppers, it may help to get u thru the flight school again. Triangle, R1(x2), left, R1, L1, R2, L1 HAGN! :)

I made it to blowing up the vehicles with the helicopter. Got 69%. You think it would cut me a break. Damn. Only need 70% to pass that part.
Hey ya'll. I love me some good dungeon crawling games. I'm so into RPG games. I only own a PS2 for now and want to upgrade as soon as I can afford to.
I Love 'Wizardry 8' , Darkstone, Bauldar's Gate, and all of the Tomb Raider series. I also am a big fan of Final Fantasy, with one exception.....I want to play the games, not watch them.
Can anyone recommend me a hot game to buy along these lines? I am up for ps2 games or pc games for the moment. I dunno whether or not I want a ps3 or an xbox yet. I want the one with the most dungeon crawling stuff. Any ideas I'd appreciate. I'll be sure to check out their reviews and do some shopping. It doesn't have to be new games exactly either. I am very behind on my games collection thanx to pogo.

You remind me of one of my older games I have, Xenogears. While the game itself is wonderful, it has its annoyances. Again, this is one of those games that would be great if only it could be played more than watched. There are cut scenes in that game that literally take up to an hour to play out (no way to ff thru).
I'm one of those dweebs that likes to do everything possible in a game. If I see I've missed something, I prefer to restart and correct what I missed. This is a terrible thing in a game like that.
I do what I see. I don't go nuts if something isn't done. I just move on if I can. I loved Xenogears but your right about the watching part. There is way too much watching in many of todays RPG's. Fortunately in some games you can press the start button to stop the video and move on with the game although I do like to watch them just so I can keep up with the storyline.
Tomb Raider Legend will be coming out this year. I'm a TR freak.

Thanks. I just started GOW. I'm having trouble using Medusa's stare. Your supposed to hold down L2 and the square button together but it doesn't seem to work for me. I must be doing it wrong or something. LOL
to be honest homer, i rarely used medusa's gaze after i aquired it, just for that level, and it became useless to me, i upgraded every thing else except for that---u are doing it right though by the way, i checked the manual that came with the game and ur right with what u hold down, make sure though u are lined up with the enemy before u blast away, i noticed that u may have to hold it for like 5-6 seconds before they totally freeze, but it doesnt last long, if u upgrade it, it will hold them longer, but i didnt use it after that level, go figure lol, good luck and let me know how ur doing as u go along, this game is gonna be game of the year for ps2 for sure, if not over all game of the year!!

It's pretty good but I thought it should be longer. I know I only have a few challenges until the end. I made it to The Architects Tomb. :D
GOW is the best game of the year on the PS2, but i think Resident Evil for the gamecube will get game of the year at G-Phoria. Can't wait for RE to be released on PS2. :)
Finished God of War. BTW Ares was a total wuss. Just use Army of Hades and whip him into submission. The story was very cool and the cut scenes were great. Now I'm waiting for the latest Arc the Lad RPG to come in. Should have it tomorrow. :D

I don't know if you have played 'Wizardry - Tale Of The Foresaken Land' for psx2. That is possibly the most fun game I've ever played. I've been at it for months and have my group levelled up really nice. I'm about ready to venture into the 11th dungeon and confront the main enemy. From what I hear, after the game is won, there are 999 more dungeons that open up. If ever I get through this game, I'm gonna try Area 51. Þ

Ive played both destroy all humans and area 51--not to completion, but since we had the demo for destroy all humans in the ps2 at work i played it there and i checked out area 51 for 4 days, destroy all humas is fun but tedious and area 51 was good. Again though--i must keep saying it---GOD OF WAR is the fashizzle!!!!!!!!!! Also, we are releasing madden 06 at midnight, so we are gonna have a HUGE crowd for that one, reserve those madden's people!!!! HAGN all. OH--BTW---Darkwatch is looking like its gonna be awesome as well as the very much anticipated Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which Adric, u should get that once when it releases, since ur into RPG's!!! Although we all have different tastes maybe I can save someone a few bucks in case they are thinking of buying a game. ;)
Arc the Lad: End of Darkness gets a D'oh rating from Homer. If your renting it's worth a peek. I wouldn't suggest purchasing it. O0
OK, well, the games came in the mail today, which is cool because it's my first 2 games! But anyway, EyeToy: Antigrav is OK, but it is hard to calibrate your face as the area for your head is too small, but anyway, I would give it 3/5 stars * * * for great gameplay!
Now, the next game (Need for Speed) for Nintendo DS... it's a bit of a problem because I can't really find my DS :-\

The whole Jak and Daxter series Rocks!!! Also, if yyou like Jak and Daxter, try Rachet and Clank series--u will be addicted, like me-heehee!!! OH Homer, I feel bad u rented Arc the Lad--the customers that bought it new at my store we're back tradigd it in the next day, they all hated it!!! As far as Madden goes, I am so glad its finally out, Im beat cause we did a midnight release of it!! So far, its 50/50--soem people love it some hate it. HAGD all!!
No biggie on the rental. I'm on a subscription plan where I can have 2 games out at any time. I don't like it I toss it right back in the mail. That's the beauty of it. I get to try games I know I would not have purchased. ;)

X-men legends was a great game, can't wait for the X-men Legends II. By the way Madden just gets better every year and looking forward to playing it on the next-gen consoles!!!!! O0

Ok I have played Madagascar and finished it in 1 day! It was pretty fun, I enjoyed the music (see below for rating).
As for Jak & Daxter the Precursors Legacy it was fun, but I can hardly get through Level 1 ( by the way, I got through Geiser Rock ), but I will return both tomorrow and see what I get after that!

Madagascar: **** 4 Stars - Loved it!, It just needed more levels....
Jak & Daxter: The Precursors Legacy : *** 3 Stars - Ok, just a little boring for me (Looking forward to Jak 2: Renegade) and irish, I also put the whole Ratchet and Clank Series on my list, one day I played Ratchet & Clank 1 and loved it!

Glad to hear another person is addicted to platformers like me-hehee!! I am almost done with Ratchet and Clank the first one, then I must go back to finish Pyschonauts, I'm at the final boss and I keep dying--ughhhhh!! Also, for anyone looking for a bargain title for the xbox, try out Razes Hell, it looks sweet as pie on the cover, but is bloody and fun with humor-hahahaha kinda(if u liked Conker, u will like this one) Yes, I broke down and bought a Xbox(used of course), but SONY is still king in my house and plus I needed the big 10 lb xbox to play Halo. 360 isn't backards compatable though only for halo 2, the ps3 is backwards compatable and the nintendo revolution can't do anything
I'm not terribly impressed with Madden so far. I think I might be getting bored with it. I've played every version since it came out in the early 90's on Sega Genesis. Maybe things will be better on the PS3. I've only played a handful of games so far.
the first madden was one of the best ones they made what was it 90'
Not sure but one of my favorite versions was when a player got hurt the ambulance would drive out on the field and run over the rest of the players. :o
I just checked. It seems it came out on Sega Genesis in 1990 but there was an earlier version that ran on a Apple system. ;)

XBOX 360 will launch on NOV. 22nd, announced late last night at the tokyo game show. Plus--Just an FYI--Microsoft has only said that their "PLATNIUM HITS Xbox games will be able to be played on the 360", so until the launch we will have to see if ya can play ALL the Xbox titles up until now on there. O0 O0 HAGN ALL!!

playstation doesn't really have any franchise games though, the 360 will have pgr3 and halo 3 the revolution doesn't look half bad eiter
Playstation has the biggest selection of games by far, thats what I look for in my consoles, also the PS3 will be 100% backwards compatible, I have an Xbox also but i dont play it nearly as much as my beloved PS2 O0
I'm strictly a Sony man. Anxiously waiting for PS3. Just finished Madden. Of course I went 19-0 and the Eagles beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. I'm starting to get tired of the Madden Series. I'm finishing my Xmen that I abandoned when Madden arrived and I just got Full Metal Alchemist 2. I hope the sequel is better. :-\

I have about a dozen games to play yet. I'm mixing some older games with the newer ones. I never played Devil May Cry 2 & 3 so they'll be coming soon. I was watching G4TV and Darkwatch looks very cool so that will be on my list as well. ;)

I stick with Sony because I know they are committed to their product unlike some systems I've bought in the past only to have them discontinued after a couple years. ;)

but did you know both consoles will cost over $600 dollars......plus games are almost $100 dollars a peice.... the 360 also u have to be a hdtv for it to play..... so if u want to pay that much for those consoles u crazy
I'll be waiting for the PS3 also, from what i've seen of the 360 it doesn't really show you what this system is capable of doing. It does look prettier (the games) but i feel they are rushing this system too early. Anyways, can't wait for RE4 hopefully next month.

That's not correct the Xbox will be $299 or $399 depending on configuration. I haven't heard a price on PS3 but I suspect it will be close to the competitions price. The purchase price of the games does not matter to me I rent as a general rule. I don't believe they will charge $100/game either.
Does anyone wanna watch my 3 year old for a year or to so I can wipe the dust off my ps2 and finish MGS3. Champions, Jak3, R&C3.( and alot of others) It's been 9 months since I turned it on.

Just started playing X-Men II and the list of characters that are available to control is better than i thought. They have so many from throughout the X-men timeline that i had forgotton about. :)

So how bad is the Doom movie going to be? Just heard that Peter Jackson is going to be the director for the Halo movie coming in 2007. Not many movies have been succesfull that started as video games.

The only really decent video game movie was the original Mortal Kombat, i think the worst was Super Mario Bros. or Double Dragon movie :-[
I kinda liked the Lara Croft movies, the Tomb Raiders, and I'm not even a video game nut lol.. but then those movies can kinda stand on their own, whether they were based on video games or not.

also the new consoles coming out were suppose to be 600 and games 100 but then they thought about it and figure they would make much money on it if they did that..so the prices are drops to around 250-350 and the games not sure
I work at a gaming store, and if the xbox games were priced at 100 bucks, we would be sitting on lots of stock----"some" of the xbox 360 titles for launch will be 49.99 and the rest wil be 59.99, xbox 360 the crappy core system is 299.99 and the bundle is 399.99, also you DO NOT need high def tv to play the games, that would be ludacris, most people still cant afford high def, microsoft isnt that stupid, greedy, but not stupid. Also, we got in those game boy micros and they ARE tiny, at 99.99 a pop, i dont know if we will be selling them that fast, havent sold any yet, but im thinking some kid is gonna put one on his xmas list-lol, anyways....Hey Homer, I picked up the suffering:ties that bind, im also behind on my gaming too. right now x-men legends 2 is the biggest seller, that and pokemon xd for the Cube(go figure) HAPPY GAMING ALL!! I'm currently playing through "Sphinx and the cursed mummy" for PS2. The game didn't really get good reviews because the game was pretty hard- lots of puzzles that require a lot of thought. I guess that's not popular with the kiddies these days. :P The more you have to think your way through, the better for me.
I got a Playstation for Christmas the year they came out...so I've accumulated about 60+ games for PS1. Bought a PS2 a year ago and have about 20 games for it. I really wish that I had kept my Nintendo with it's 30+ games along with my Atari and it's 15 games. What I would do to sit down and play some old school Nintendo or Atari. :o
As for the Xbox 360 or PS3 debuting for 600.00 (reading up above a bit)- I highly doubt that and have not heard that number thrown out there. I would expect both of them to come out swinging at 299.99. With the large following of dedicated PS gamers, why would they bring out a system retailed higher than 300?
Either way, I can't wait for the next generation in gaming to hit the masses.

If you read any of the information from that link you provided you'd see your not paying for just the system...your getting 2-3 games, extra controllers, extra memory, and other extras. If you were to breakdown those charges item by item then you'd still be saving money.

Well, I finished playing The Warriors. It was pretty good. I give it a WOOHOO! rating.
I have moved on to X-Men Legends 2. So far I like it. It's neat being able to use members of the Brotherhood. :D
I'm currently stuck on playing Wild Arms: Alter Code F. One of my favorite games...redone. Now if I can only speed up time to get the Final Fantasy VII remake out... ::spins around really fast:: uh...uh....uh oh... ::runs to the poopery::

I love the fact that they have the new Fast Ship option where they send your next game before they receive the old one back. They are pretty reliable. I only had one problem where I didn't get something they shipped to me. I followed their procedures and they sent me another one no questions asked. It only takes about 2 days to get the games. 3 days if the mail is slow.

its been years since I've been to a movie theater. I figure by the time I buy 2 adult tickets, let alone tickets for the kids, I might as have bought the dang movie. So, we rent first, with netflix it equals out to a little over a dollar a movie so if we don't like it, right back in the mail. If we like it, then we buy it from walmart.

I was wondering if you all knew of any games similar to SIMS besides Bustin Out...I don't like that one so much. I like girly games lol. Any suggestions?

How about The Katamari games or the Dance Dance Revolution series. You will need a dance pad for DDR they cost about $20

Mostly rumors so far. I know they would like to charge much more than Xbox but probably aren't likely. In general it's my understanding they don't really make much money from console sales. They'll probably have tiered pricing like the Xbox. Depending on what you want I would think between $300-$500

My games take a while to finish sometimes. I'm hooked on RPG games but I can generally finish one in less than a week. ;)
hi all, im in the retail sector of the gaming industry and i have to say is woo hoo---gta liberty city stories will be out on pS2 april 25th!!!! Homer-keep ur eye out for this one!! also as a side note, I'm going to E3 this year in May, I am so hoping to see a playable demo on the ps3 and the nintendo revolution's controller, I will make sure to post any cool things that happen or that i get to see!!! It's pretty good so far. At this point everything is going to be considered a GTA knockoff but it's something to hold you over until the new one comes out. One thing I discovered is I suck at driving cars from the 30's as well. :))

I watched "Silent Hill" a week or so ago and the game looks amazing. That's next on my list to buy/rent.
I'm not the biggest game player, but I do love the Survival Horror games. I esp. love the Resident Evil and Silent Hill series. I even buy new systems just for those games. For example, I bought the Dreamcast when RE: Code Veronica came out. Then when I found out it was going to be on the PS2, I sold my game and DC and bought it for the PS2. That's how much of a freak about those games I am

The games are the best! All four of them. I definitely recommend buying/renting the first game. If you like that, then go from there. There are four games in the series.

Looks like people are getting out of control with the new controllers for the Nintendo Wii which allows you to play games by mimicking actions in the game. The wrist straps that help you hold the controller don't appear to be strong enough and they are breaking allowing the remotes to go flying across the room and damaging peoples TV's etc. :o
What game is everyone playing lately?
I just finished Final Fantasy XII. It was impressive with the graphics etc but not one of my favorites in the FF series.
Right now I am playing Phantasy Star Universe which was one of my favorite series on the old Sega platform. It's ok but not great.
I have The Sopranos waiting for me when I'm done with Phantasy Star Universe. I saw the special on HBO on the making of the game and it looks pretty good.
everyone that ive ever talked to that played PSU has really enjoyed it, esp the online part, but i have yet to play it.
I finished Okami not too long ago, and Rule of Rose, both great games, esp. okami, for only 39.99 used it took me almost 50 hours to play thru the first time and alot of the other ppl ive talked to said they racked up over 60+ hours their first time. its definatly a very very good game for any age and even for people who dont play alot of video games, this one will definatly hold anyones attention!!!
other than that ive just been playing some older games for ps2 like haunting ground, bloodrayne and xenosaga, but i havent been playing alot lately,.. too much going on
and i just bought my boyfriend two racing gmes for xmas, tourist trophy which he got last week since it wasnt really meant to be a xmas gift neway and d1 grand prix which is his xmas gift, and i am thinking about getting him the FEAR expansion pack for PC but that depends on what all else i get him, hes been a good boy this year so he deserves alot :) haha
I am playing PSU in story mode. I haven't tried it online yet. :<<
Well I started playing the new Sopranos video game and I have to say how extremely disappointing this game was. The entire game was finished within a matter of a couple hours. I hope Scarface is better. I'm waiting for that one but in the meantime have Valkyrie Profile 2 to try.

It was a PITA at first to upgrade the firmware etc. I'm waiting on my first PS3 game to come in the mail but I'm playing the PS2 version of Scarface now.
I'm having an issue getting it to accept my wireless router. The Internet Connection test keeps timing out so I'm waiting for tech help to reply which could take 48 hours.

Hi Homer and all other fellow gamers, I did get a PS3 at launch this year and GOW 2 was freakin awesome, i myself am waiting on GTA 4 and Heavenly Sword(PS3) i have been playing elder scrolls for PS3 and have yet to pick up FEAR for PS3 but I'm on vacay from work so, i have been spending alot of time playing on my DS Lite(animal crossing) and PSP(ratchet and clank:size matters) What is everyone playing right now?

I can't really get into any of the PS3 games so far. I think most of them are pretty disppointing. I'm going to wait until a better selection comes out before I buy anymore. The only game I've really been playing on there is Socom II (And that's a PS2 game!)

I've had FF in my game queue for about 6 months now. It has been pushed back to a Nov release I believe.
I just picked up a DS man i love it so far. I been playing the castlevania games right now and i got metroid and final fantasy 3 queued up and cant wait for zelda the wifi is a plus too i had to upgrade my DSL to a wireless router lol

I'm not an Xboxer but sometimes they discontinue older consoles. you can probably find one on ebay but if they no longer make the console they probably aren't making games for it either.

I think it's cause the 360 has been out for like 2 years now, and most of the old Xbox games are compatible with the Xbox 360.

An Xbox 360 itself - You can get a new one for between $350-$450 I think. Two or three games come with the Xbox though, they're also included in the price. Old, used Xbox 360s you can probably get for $200. (without any games with it)
An Xbox Live membership if they want to play online against other people - You can get a 12 month membership for like $50
The new Halo 3 game is $60
You may want/need a wireless network adapter too, that's around $100.
Extra controllers if necessary, wired controllers are $40 each, and wireless controllers are $50 each. You can sometimes choose the color of the controllers too if you buy them seperately I think. There's white, black, and pink I think.
Then you'd need a memory card or a harddrive. Memory cards are between $25-$50, it depends on the amount of memory they have. Harddrives are $180. I have the harddrive.. it has a lot more memory than the memory card does, thus that's why it's around $150 more.

the 360 has a wireless adaptor for live for 100 bucks...i use the ethernet cable...live costs 60 bucks a year :/\

the 360 comes with xbox live silver...is free..but its pointless...all you can do is just download things...you dont need the 100 dollar wireless adaptor..any eithernet cord works fine...live is pretty cool though..ive had it for about 4 years now

So far the graphics and storyline look great. I hate games where you need to hold mulitple buttons to perform actions etc. Usually by the time I figure out what buttons to push I am dead. LOL

l0c0 I tried Metroid Prime. I still have it. The graphics are pretty awesome but I gotta admit I don't care much for how the controller works for traditional type games. Too much waving in the air and moving it. The controller is cool for games like bowling which I like very much but I really don't care much for the way it interacts with regular games. I wish they had an option to use the controller in the traditional manner.

We used to do GF for my son and loved it! Right now we have free rentals from Hollywood Video/Game Crazy because when you buy a game system there, you get 1 free rental per month for 12 months. Well, we bought 2 Wii's, one for my son and one for my daughter/son in law/grandkids so we have 2 free rentals per month for a year. AND, because we are frequent renters there, we often get additional free rental coupons in the mail. The Wii systems were the same price everyone else was charging and my son always rents from Hollywood Video/Game Crazy anyway, so the $80.00+ worth of free rentals (because we would pay to rent anyway) makes the system that much cheaper. BUT - I think you have a better chance of finding the games you want through Game Fly.
Sometimes you can't always get the game you want when you want it at gamefly but what I do is leave my game queue empty and make sure I leave one rental open so that when a new game is released it ships the same day.

GTA IV's good too. The cops come chasing me every 10 seconds though it seems. I've probably run down close to 1000 people. :ll :ll
The one thing I don't like about GTA4 is the lighting. Everything is so dark.

Nudity - Yes. There are some raunchy scenes where the controller starts vibrating. :ll You can't really see anything though. There are some clubs too in the game.

I'm cancelling my gamefly. They still haven't sent my kids their first 3 choices out of the 10 in the Q thingy. They started at the bottom of the damn list. !@#$ I just went to cancel and they offered me another month for 14.95, but I ain't gonna do it.
I have no problems with them. I always get the games in my Q as long as they are available. Sometimes you have to wait if the games in your Q aren't available.

The other two are listed as medium availability and they sometimes take 1-2 days before shipping.

Yes, like 4 and when we send one back they are fast about sending the next one. I keep one and send one back so the kids aren't without one to play. They received our last game 5 days ago and haven't sent a new one out. :-\

My son LOVES his 360. He plays that more than he plays his Wii. We got it at Game Crazy about a year and a half ago and he wore it out. Thankfully we had gotten the extended warranty through GC and when it stopped reading the disks, he took it in and they gave him a brand new one. So he's hooked up again.

Saints Row 2 is so awesome. :)) The storyline is alright, but all of the extra features they added into the city makes the game alot funnier. I love picking up random people and throwing them into the traffic and watching them get run over. :ll Oh, and I always steal everybody's money in the casino too. :)))

I bought my girls XBox 360 from Circuit City online. When the box came it had a game in it that I didn't order, but I was so busy trying to hide the box that I didn't really pay attention. I thought it was the game that comes with the holiday bundle deal. When I went to wrap it, it was Gears of War 2 Limited Edition. My kids can't have that kind of a game, but I racked up 84.99 for it on Ebay. :))) I started the bid at .99, I had no idea it was a hot game.

Logitech has a wireless keyboard that will work on Wii, PS3, 360 and your computer. It's 20 bucks so I didn't know if it was a good deal or not or why I would even need one. bad mood.gif I have 4 computers to web browse, I don't need my game systems to do it too. giggle2.gif

Go to the Xbox Dashboard screen. Then go over to the Media tab then go to Movies. Then there should be something that says 'Removable Device' or 'Added Hardware' or something like that. Then I think you should be able to play it as long as the Xbox supports the format that the movie was saved in.

Just finshed Batman Arkhum Asylum on Xbox 360. About 20-30 hours of gameplay. Worth the rental.
My daughter got her kids a Wii for Xmas and got the exercise thingy that goes with it. She set up her Avatar and as soon as she stepped on the mat, her avatar got really fat. She was insulted. hysterical.gif Then she had to work the next several days in a row, 12 hour shifts, so didn't get back to it until today. When she stepped on the mat again, the machine told her....."I see that even though you haven't had time to exercise, you've had plenty of time to eat!" giggle2.gif Not sure if she's even gonna attempt it again. hysterical.gif hysterical.gif I told her I'd see if Homer would slap the Wii for her. slap1.gif

My brother is playing that game ... last night I heard it took over 3 hours just to log in due to auth server being overloaded (even if you play single player, you need to log in to your battle.net account).
