Did they add the new Omaha Badge this morning or has it been there awhile and I'm just now noticing it?  It is called Rising Star and you have to get dealt 4 Hole Cards of the same rank.  Great, why couldn't they have had this from the beginning, I would of had it already.  Bummer.

Also known as pocket cards. They are the 4 cards originally dealt just to you. ;)

so u mean like say four 7's,4 queens etc??

Haven't actually checked it out yet but I'm pretty sure that's what they mean.  :)

it makes me wanna cry big time.  it already has me cursing at puter (like its the puters fault rite).  i have spent many grooling hours on that game already and only have the 4 aces badge and thats it - but im not complaining to terribly much coz i aint got any of the ones in texas holdem and im on rank 36 in there and only on 9 in omaha.   >:D :'( :-\

So back atcha!  :D You inspired me to get golden carrot and you have more badges than I do. I'm not even a poker fan so this to me is a disadvantage. If you get the poker badge first I will not be surprised. I will be very very impressed!

     By the way, I have absolutely nothing for badges in Texas or Omaha. (This does not include weekly things). What do you have so far? I'm very nearly done with 'Aces Up' and am thinking of poker next. I'd love to badge race with ya till 2006, but.... :-[

I got it, after 600 hands last night  :) I'm sure they will be adding more "Fluke" badges to this game, seeing as they have about 4 more badges that were supposed be rank badges for the game, but ended up not being..G'luck. O0

Hopefully one of you lucky guys that have won 1 or 2 or even all 3 of the badges in Omaha can tell me what is the best way to play-  in a room with the bots, or double browsing.  Is it possible to win these in a private room with the 5 bots in the for fun room.  Hopefully you can help.  I am on rank 10 and have not gotten either of those badges.  I think I'm just very unlucky...   Thanks alot.. :-*

Yeeehaaaa!!!  I got the new badge tonight!!!  This is my first game badge for any of the poker games.   ;D  I got hit with AAAA and nearly fell outta my chair.

now at rank 21 but i will now try for the texas hold'em badges. O0

 :o I just got my rising star badge...but I missed it!!!! Left the room for like 2 seconds came back and the congratulations screen was up  :-\ But I got it!! WOOHOO
Sorry as you can see I am mildly excited by getting this badge after having played it to rank 16, constantly all day long..I will never play it again I hasten to add lol

I finally got the " King of the Table" badge and still working on the other 2.  I do have to agree that you have to take your time in winning these badges.  Congrats to Max for getting the shooting star badge and do keep the faith Barb, I know you will get it soon. O0

w2g all who have all the badges so far.  i am a badge hog too, but only got the 4 aces badge,  still hunting for the other 2 as well as the 2 in texas holdem.

Can someone help at all?

I've been playing Omaha for hours on end in the hopes of getting just ONE of the three new badges... to no avail.

I'm playing in a private room against the robots in the Just For Fun rooms... could I win one like this, or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

Btw, so many times I've come close to a straight flush but one card. 

no they are very obtainable in the just for fun rooms.  ive got one so far and that is the only way i play is in the just for fun rooms.  veel geluk (good luck for those who dont know dutch)  ;D.

I actually HAVE been playing with no joker card and WITH bonus card.  >:(

Guess I have to keep trying. 

What's really frustrating is that so many times I've almost had the straight flush except ONE card!!

  I would recommend playing in a pvt room with only one other person. Go with low rollers (or whatever you like) other than just for fun. By playing just for fun rooms you are also playing bots and they decrease your winning odds even more. Not to mention, they have a tendancy to fold on you when you have a very promising hand.

  If you don't have a friend that you could one on one with, a double browser is also a blessing for these badges.

Sixteen days straight, 62,000 hands, 7 Ace badges, 2 Flush badges and no Shooting Star badge.

Well, here's an idea if you have no life (like me).  Simply get a private table and keep sittin and standing till you get the four hole cards.... that's what I did....... O0

can you move up in rank in just for fun, ive been playing omaha for awhile and no badge, i must not be lucky enough, so i probly wont ever get these 3 badges.

I think there are 50 ranks but no badges for them.

Yes, you can move up in ranks in the Just For Fun rooms.

I play on a private table, (bonus card/no wild's) and play all hands that have at least 1 Ace or 2 cards which can make a straight flush.  If any hand I'm dealt doesn't have an Ace (for possible King of Table badge), or cards which can make a straight flush, then I FOLD.  I seem to get through the hands quicker that way, but it does mean I'm not moving up in ranks quickly too.  (Although I don't think that matters when you're just trying to get a badge - correct me if I'm wrong).

Someone mentioned earlier that you can just sit/stand up to try for the the 4 hole cards (Rising Star badge).  I didn't think of that & will give it a try if I can get dealt more hands in the same amount of time.  Thanks for the tip!

Still no Omaha badges for me... but I'm not giving up.

Good Luck Barb, I have not played as many hands as you have, but I have been playing almost non stop and only won the 4 aces badge.  I am not giving up though and will keep playing till I win over those darn tin heads who are driving me crazy, with their crossed eyes and square heads....hahahahaha.

I tried sitting and standing... standing up takes you out of the game room.  >:(

Please explain how you do this.  When I stand up it takes me out of the game room.

i tried standing up and sitting down it kicks me out of room to, ive used the auto and it doesnt push the button when you need more tokens.

I wouldn't post something if it didn't happen.

When standing up in a Just For Fun room, it takes you out of the table.

the secret to not getting booted from table when you stand up is to make sure the box that seys allow watchers is checked.
