Oh gawd...there wasn't anything to watch on TV...so I turn to the Lifetime movie "Christmas Shoes" or whatever it's called. Now I'm crying and can't even see 10 inches in front of me. >:D I'm blaming it on the writers strike. :)))
My daughter started watching Lifetime when she was about 12, and I noticed a serious change in her. She became very depressed, so I stopped letting her watch it. It's ok sometimes, but at the time she was watching they were doing all these shows on teens cutting themselves and people dying of cancer. We actually started calling it the cancer channel.
It's definitely a chick flick channel with real issues, but I like a good crybaby movie every now and then. My twelve year old doesn't want to watch it..she wants to watch friggen MTV and BET. What ever happened to Nick at night?
