Title: Help with Thunderpopper11
Post by: SugarBear on May 04, 2005, 10:19:30 PM
Hi,
I wold love to have the auto Thunder Popper11 but it won't work for me.  When I bring it up it says: Connection type 1
          Please wait
          Open poppit in browser
then it just sits there.  The "start" button is grayed out but when I click on it a box comes up and says:  Cannot open file C:\GhostBalloon2.bmp  it also says that when I click on "click here to register.  Can someone please help me with this.

I'm using  Windows 98SE
              Java VM & Sun
              Smooth edges unchecked
              IE 6

Thank you,

I believe ThunderPopper does not work in Win98 or WinME.

I get the exact same thing when I try to use ThunderpopperII, and I have windows XP. Don't know what the problem is, worked fine when it was Stoppit. Also, can't get an answer from badgehelp, so guess it won't ever work.

I have also heard that thunderpopper runs best with the original background.
The space themes etc. seem to lock it up.

1) Operating system XP Home Edition SP2
2) Browser Internet Explorer
3) Color setting  32 bit
4) Screen resolution 1024x768
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts unchecked
6) What Java you are using  VM

The above are the specs of my computer.  This auto works good for about 15 minutes or so, then it all of a sudden just stops, didnt know if it was the auto or the game.  Exited the program, then I got the message that Thunderpopper II encountered an error and has to close.  Then I start it up again, and it starts popping balloons.  I know this question has been asked several times, but haven't seen a solution or anything about an update.

Please let us know what is going on, will just babysit it until an update is out.
