Title: Confused - Wooden Nickel badge in Aces Up
Post by: pawnqueen on June 02, 2005, 05:08:28 AM
I would appreciate if someone could help me out... I'm trying to work out how long I have left to reach rank 5 to get the wooden nickel badge.

According to my Stats, I've completed 29 squadrons and am on rank 3: bootie-ful baby.

But this doesn't seem to agree with the rank charts which say:

Rank         Squadrons To Fill               Total Squadrons

0                  default                              default
1                     1                                       1
2                     8                                       9
3                    12                                      21
4                    16                                      37

I don't understand how many squadrons I have left to fill to reach rank 5.

I would really appreciate some help please!!

If you're on rank 3 now you really don't have too long to go. I think your question really depends on where you are getting your rank chart info from. There are several sites out there with rank charts. Even though they have been accurate with the ranks themselves, their numbers are sometimes not.
I don't remember exactly what it takes in squadrons to make rank 5. I know that I got that badge the day the game was released. When you complete a squadron it will tell you how many left to rank up. Use that and know that you will need that many as well for rank 4. I 'think' they add 5 squadrons to rank 4.
You will have that badge soon. Gl2u

It takes 57 squadrons to get the wooden nickel badge. You have 28 to go.

It took 21 squads to get your 3rd badge.  Once you've finished your 37th you go to 4th and 57th will get you #5 and your badge.
