Title: Problems with Autos
Post by: wutupkid on April 03, 2004, 07:40:13 PM
the autos that always work on IE are not working with netscape. for instance with TT and bb7 is it will only move the cards or pop ballons that i drag my cursor over. ??? it probably has something to do with the sun java program. i apologize because i believe something similar to this problem was posted but i couldn't find it when i used the search option. tell me what i need to do so the auto will work when i leave it alone.

Any reason you can't continue using IE? I believe the answer to your problem was to turn off sun java and use MS JVM

You can enable it by going to internet options and going to the advanced tab. Scroll down a bit and you'll see it.

i dont wanna quit using IE. i want to use both browers so i can transfer tokens. but i will have 2 java programs; vitural manager for IE and sun for netscape. vitural manager works fine on IE but on netscape the game will not load correctly.

Which game? You can only transfer tokens in the multiplayer games.

Like High Stakes Poker

BTW, you can't transfer tokens in any of the auto games.

i know this. i wanna know how to use both browers with 2 different java programs because the vitural manager works fine on IE but on netscape the game will not load correctly. but if i have both sun and j.v.m, the game will never load. after i deleted sun and j.v.m. from my comp and reloaded jvm, high stakes loaded fine on the IE, but the netscape high stakes just stood there. is it possible for sun after i delete jvm to work on both browers and for the games and autos to work correctly?

It should. I use sun java on both browsers and have no problems.

jvm is gone and the sun java is installed. i went back to test TT using IE and netscape and the auto is only moving the cards i have my cursor over. anything else i need to do for the auto to work correctly?

Do you have that smooth edge option turned on?

Right click on desktop >> Properties >> Appearance >> Effects

Turn it off if its on.... That may be why, I am not sure. Mine work with it turned on so... ?!?

reinstalling sun java didn't work. ive given up on the 2 browers idea and decided to go back to what has always worked and to just use IE. thanks to everyone for their help.

after downloaded netscape again and selected the full download that includes its on version of java instead of the custom which does not, i was able to run both browers in pogo perfectly fine. i've made a hefty amount of tokens for my dumpee in the past few days. ;D
