Post by: NY Greek Girl on June 04, 2005, 10:29:33 AM
Hey Everyone!!!

Well im having problems with the jigsaw auto, now when i start it, it grabs the pieces, puts them on the bottom right corner then it throws around 10 pieces on the right side then slows down and puts it the right way but now it gets stuck because some of the pieces are on the right side and i dont know what 2 do i have tried anything and everything!!! there was a jigsaw auto way before i dont remember what version it was but it worked and when i go back to date 2 the old forums 2 try 2 find an old version it keeps giving me the newest version!!! so what im asking is can there be a way 2 get the older version of jigsaw with no complications involved?? and how??

                                                                                                                              Thank You,
                                                                                                                             NY Greek Girl

Please make sure to give as much information as you can when you have technical problems.

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better.

Open up IE..go to Tools, then Internet Options..then Advanced.  Scroll down until you see Java (Sun).  Uncheck that.  Then below that you will see Microsoft VM.  Under that, ONLY check Jit Complier.  That should fix your problem.

Well I have found that MS Java works best for this auto.  If you scroll to the top of this page..and click on the Club Center.  Scroll all the way to the bottom of that page.  You will see a message about the Double Browser trick.  If you read that, it will discuss two javas.  There is a link on there to download the other java.

It will say "If you don't already have two different Java's, you can get Sun at www.java.com, and you can download JVM here."  click on the link after JVM to download that java.  Then your auto should work.
