Title: thunderpopper ii
Post by: swappedsol on June 13, 2005, 04:58:29 AM
How does one go about getting their money back for buying a game and not working the way it says its going to work?

Its too fast.

first of all are you talking about a pogo to go game or an auto?
secondly,  if its an auto, didnt you try it out first to see if it worked right and to get the settings right?
and if its a pogo to go game,  did you try using the trial version first?

That is what the trial period is for, to see if it is something you want to buy or not.  Did you try moving the speed setting all the way over to the right?  I do believe there is a statement on the Badgehelp site stating that this auto is fast.

I know what the trial period is for. I used about 4 trials on 4 different machines before i purchased the program. After i purchased the program, it probably worked for abuot 2 days. The, what probably happened is pogo changed their speed at which you can win tokens and the auto doesnt work. There has not been an update to the auto to rectify this problem.

there has been an update to the auto.  delete the version you have and re-download it.

hmmmmmmm.  im sorry then i dont know what to say.  how about you post your specs and then one of the programmers or someone can help figure out the problem.

operating system
browser
java
smoothe edges on or off
color setting
screen resolution
and what the problem is
Title: Re: thunderpopper ii

operating system - XP pro SP2
browser - IE 6
java - ver 1.5.0 build 1.5.0_02-b09
smoothe edges on or off - OFF
color setting - highest (32 bit_
screen resolution - 1024 x 768
and what the problem is - I bought the program. worked for 2 days. stopped giving bonus tokens. Rumor had it that pogo put a speed limit on and thunderpopper wasnt going slow enough. Downloaded a newer version (update) and it worked for abuot 10 games and its not getting bonus tokens anymore either

did u check to make sure the speed is all the way towards the end under slow?  sometimes if you don't have it that right on the end pogo won't do it.  they are becoming stingy with their tokens.

You unlock different themes as you move up in rank. Click the "Theme" button on your poppit game (bottom right corner) and you can see you different themes and switch them from there. Hope this helps!

Please make sure to give as much information as you can when you have technical problems.

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better.

The best way to find out if they work well is to try them.  I know Stompzilla for Poppazoppa works with 98.  There are free trials on each auto.  Take a few out for a spin and see if they work for you.

I would like some help please. My Thunder Poper II is working. The only problem I am having is the dang flashing yellow and blue is driving my eyes crazy. Can it be turned off? Also when it has a prize left in the string of 5 or less balloons it just screams no solution found in the flashing blue & yellow for ever until I came back and hit new game. Could that problem be addressed in an up date. For some reason it needs to close because it has a problem after running for a while. Maybe that could be addressed in an update of some kind. There is no error reporting to send. So I don't know how to do that.

Windows XP pro
cable connection
aol ISP but using IE 6 to play game
32 bit color (yellow & blue flashing is very clear) LMAO
1024x768
smooth edges at proper settings
MS java   Thanks in advance.

1) Operating system (Windows XP)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer 6)
3) Color setting (32 bit) High Color
4) Screen resolution (800x600)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked
6) Used both MS VM and Sun Java

My problem is similar to others but I haven't been able to fix it.  I start Popit in my IE browser.  When it loads and opens, I open Thunderpoppit2 and all it says is start the progem in your browser.  I've restarted it and still nothing.  I also tried it with netscape and also tried both forms of Java.  How can I get this to work!!!
