Ok, I bought thunderpopper2, entered the password that was sent to me. It worked just fine. Then I closed it. The next time I went to use it, it said the trial period had ended and I needed to register it. I wrote and got a new password, worked fine until I closed it. Now it is saying that I need to register again.
I have deleted and downloaded again, got a new password from Oscar. It works until I close it. It keeps resetting to unregistered.
Other helpers work just fine. I am using winxp, IE6, 32 bit color, sun java and smooth font is not checked.
So far I have not had an answer from the badge help people as to what is causing the password not to stick.
Can anyone help? :(
Thanks
P.S. sorry for posting in someone else's chain.
No, you didn't mess up by posting in another thread. It's just that that particular thread was getting so confused that it was hard to answer.
First. Go get MSVM instead of Sun. Go to the club center and go to the "Double Browser" area. Download MSVM. Once downloaded do a windows update. Restart computer.
Then go to Tools / Internet options / Advanced. Scroll about half way down and uncheck all the Sun boxes. Check all the MSVM ones.
Likely that won't help you with your registration problem (but it will avoid other issues in the future).
My best recommendation would be to keep the auto open while you send Oscar the code and get your new password.
This happened once to me. The password took 3 tries to take....
Thank you, I'll try that. I am pretty sure that I already have tried those things. But will try again. I have emailed Oscar several times, but no answer so far. Is it a real person or a bot?
Every time I enter the password that he sends, it will say it is registered, but only until I close the program. Then when I tried to use it again, it resets to unregistered and the code changes.
I'm afraid Oscar will be getting tired of emails from me soon. :)
Oscar is a real person who answers his e-mail. Bob is a bot. :)
Did your program keep changing the registration code each time you opened it?
I have been leaving it open while waiting for his email with the password.
I canot lie and say that this is the first time that I have heard of this happening.
;D
Looks like it is going to work now. I entered the new password and it is working. I even closed and reopened it to see.
Thanks so much, and Thanks to Oscar also for putting up with all of my emails.

Yippee! Get some badges now.
mine is saying that there are no possible moves. i try to reset it and re start it and nothing happens
Please make sure to give as much information as you can when you have technical problems.
Here are some things that will help:
1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program
You get the idea the more information the better.
Windows xp
Internet Explorer
color at 32
1024x768
Smooth edges of screen fonts unchecked
i start the auto and it tells me to hit start. it solves the puzzle and says it has found 0 bullons and then it says that there are no possible moves
Go to:
Tools
Internet Options
General Tab
Settings
View Objects
All your pogo game files will be in the window that pops up.
Delete the pogo file for Poppit
Click Ok twice to close the windows.
Go to pogo and open a poppit room in IE
Open TP2 and try again.
See if that helps.
