Wasn't that challenge a megabeast?  I have never been so happy for an auto in my life!

I feel for you guys that were already finished with that game. I needed that challenge lol. I hadn't played it in months due to blackjack boredom. I went from rank rank 35 to 38.

No pain here adric on us who have finished the game.
Just restart an old auto and let her rip.
I bet many players who used this auto for the weekly badge will buy it to get all the rank badges because this auto runs flawlessly.
Ps.
And what exactly is your avatar??
I have had too much Capt. or having a flashback

Ok, that green "trotting" avatar is just straight freaky.

I'm trying to picture the selection process on that. You see that and go....yeah, that's the one for me.

-----------------------------  The above is a quote from Badgehelposcar in another post. Everey time I see it I get so tickled and just cannot stop laughing. Still laughing  ;D

I'm not entirely sure what this little avatar is. I believe it is meant to be a tapeworm of all things. When I came across it I thought it was cute in a very homely sort of way. If it made anybody laugh as much as Oscar's reply made me laugh, then I feel good about it. I can just stare at this avatar and I'll just start cracking up lmao.  :)

The top 3 questions with this avatar:

1. What's with that big ass smile? What is this big ugly baby shit green stump so happy about?
2. How the heck can this thing support itself with toothpick legs?
3. Where the hell is thing running to?

Yeah I love the little tapeworm horse.  Makes me laugh too.  But then I've always had a soft spot for green tapeworm horses.

Being a tapeworm, you ask where he is running to?  My guess is that he is heading south.  Brings to mind that joke that always makes me chuckle, and will probably get me banned.  "Rectum? dang near killed him!"  I am going to bed now.  I look forward to seeing if I can access the forum tomorrow or now, lol.  If not, ya'll can find me in Pogo.  If so, my God, what the heck was I thinking when I typed this? One last note as I look at the tapeworm, Lindsey Lohan.....eat a sandwhich for God sakes!  By the way, Jeffer started it!

I think pogo should have more challenges like the blackjack one this week.  You know, if they arent going to have 1 easy one and 1 hard one,  make at least  one of them very tedious to complete.   Lately some of them have just been way too easy.   1600 harvest veggies?   60 perfect pairs?   9 10 card streaks?    it should be like ...1600 flower veggie matches,  or 200 perfect pairs,   or 9 15 card streaks.    you know, something that not everyone will be able to complete the first day.   I swear sometimes, ill go into a pogo room at an hour or two after the challenges start..and see a whole bunch of people already have the badges.

As far the blackjack one,  i was grateful for it,  it gave me the momentum to work my way from rank 22 to rank 27...and then I figured...id just go ahead and make it to 30.

Yes, I've posted this on several occasions about challenges being too easy. Occasionally, yes they should be. Holidays maybe. Let parents have their children aid in a challenge. I like a good challenge, and like you blackjack brought me up a few ranks, where as I was otherwise bored as H-E-double toothpick with the game.

Here are some challenges I'd like to see.....\

Get a 30 or better chain 10 times this week (zoppa)
catch 40 or more squelchies 30 times this week in bonus round (squelchies) ---I always get atleast 45 lol
win 5 hard games on spider solitaire
win 6 in a row 6 times on tri peaks
score 1,000 or better 5 times this week on greenback bayou (jp spins do not count)
score 250 or better 10 times this week on Keno
get a 4 of a kind this week on Texas Hold Em' 3 times
drop a stack of 50 balls or more on phlinx 10 times
Make madam dottie's wig flip twice this week in bingo (Joking lmao)

You get the picture. That's what I'd like to see

they should put some badges on the sports games they only did that once and for golf
Title: Re: Challenge completed
Post by: Adacia on July 22, 2005, 05:48:42 AM
yeah, I'm all for that. I don't know squat about sports. If  they offered one of the EA games it had better be 'Need For Speed' or 'Vert Skater'. Those I can play. There are a few others that I would be willing to learn. Give me football or some horrid sport I'm a dud at...forget it.
Point being, they tried this with golf. I agree with you that it would be nice if they did. I love to see pogo peeps squirm in their own juices. I think this badge was going to be for vert skater....
<img src="https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/adacia/u8.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">
(//)

The problem is that too many peeps complained. Waaaaaaaaaah...I cannot finish this in an hour! I don't know golf! I can't load this game!  Well, the load game bit I can see. Alot of people are still on dial-up and EA games are a B to get into for them. I think pogo tried it and it didn't work.
Some EA games also require an extra plug-in installment. They may go there one day, but not any time soon, I don't think. I think it's called wild tangent. I play need for speed quite a lot as I love the game. I have also gotten spyware from wild tangent in past. I think pogo and EA should unmerge and be seperated. This would give pogo more usage to fix current problems. EA games usually has less than 100 people per game as it is.

The majority of Pogo's customers are middle aged woman who wouldn't appreciate sports and couldn't get the challenge completed.

I agree with Max. In my experience Wild Tangent is a pain in the butt. I promptly removed it from my system and refuse to reinstall it.

Wild Tangent: bad bad bad

I remember when they had that race car game and you had to download wild tangent.....I "trusted" them....big mistake.

I don't think I ever got that fully uninstalled off that PC.

4 frosty mugs of beer, a plate of hot wings, a mushroom cheesesteak with mayo and fried onions, and a pint of Turkey Hill, your choice of flavor.  I wonder if you are going to turn me in?
