I seem to be getting more and more of these lately (and to think I had no friends). Anyway, do these ever work? the reason being is I was thinking about starting one to make "Game Excellence" badges like:
100 perfect games in PPS or
100 perfect in WCS or
place all 6 Lottso balls 500 times etc
That way as you get up there in rank and the ranks take forever, you can still strive for something (or if you already have the last one, you badge hogs will have something new)
I like your idea to have some really tough challenges. Now, could you make them a little tougher?
Oh,.... I didn't mean them as weekly but in game challenges, like the pop all the balloon challenge but have the game keep track of them until it's completed. Be it 1 week or two years, like rank badges
I'm all for the idea as long as it's a challenge whether in terms of time or skill.

I hear you on that one barbara. It should be like 1000 perfect in wcs because I have already got over 100.

Dang Ranger. It only takes 1650 regular wins to get the Scavenger Hunter badge...
Hi Class
This reminds me of an old post from Adric.
He mentioned that badges are won from playing games Over and Over and Over again.
Not much of any skill involved.
Finally Poppazoppa has a 36 chain badge which does take some skill with alot of luck.
But all other games are based on wins.
My example Idea for game awards.
The game would start on easy.
Win 100 games on easy to earn a badge, this unlocks the medium setting.
Win 200 games on Med, this unlocks hard
Win 300 on hard this unlocks expert
win 100 on expert win badge.
You get the idea either make it harder as it goes along to win or put something in the game to make it worth playing Over and Over and Over again.
I thank Adric for starting this idea.

But that would be a real challage.
I agree with katieshunnybunny. That would give people that have already completed WCS an incentive to continue playing.
Yea I find it that when I complete a game I really don't play it much after that unless there is a challege. But if they offered these kind of awards then I would be playing those games right know.
Well Ranger, I won't argue with that logic. I got stuck in a impromptu meeting from heck today. It caused me to look at this from the other side.
If Pogo was smart, they would spend more time determining what club player's want rather than simply driving us to mindlessly play games we're not interested in. We all have different interests in different games. These can be wrapped in some fairly loose categories. Word Games, Card Games, Casino Games... You get the idea. We all have games we like to play and some we don't.
So to incent Club players, they should offer badges in various categories rather than in specific games. Make those the "Meta badges". Of course, those of us that are "badge hogs" (note the lack of capital letters Max), will still continue to work on everything while those that appreciate certain games always have a upcoming challenge.
Like I said, I'm a little brain fried.. I hope this made sense.
Ewww, meeting brain fry. I hate when that happens. You should have sent your assistant instead of having to go to the meeting yourself. Maybe she would have brought you a carrot cake muffin and a cup of tea when she was done.
At that point I was thinking about Coldstone Ice cream with butterscotch topping....
You are the boss.......
I have sent pogo a suggestion e-mail and will let you guys know the generic answer I recieve.
Thanks for trying to make Pogo a better place for us. I respect your efforts.
