I had a club pogo account that had a slightly altered word in it...lets just say it was a derivative of a female dog. Spelling was slightly different, but one of my many accounts got banned stating "it was a family oriented site" and "such language would not be tolerated". What language? It's not like i was saying I'm queen "B" or anything. Oh well, the reason I'm writing this is to let everyone know that if you have a suggestive name, stay in an uncensored room (that's how they got me...uh hummm). They are hunting people down and banning their accounts. I just don't want anyone else losing their accounts (permanantely...did I mention that?) like I did. :-X
Um hello! They are the ones who took the $$ for that account and let that name slide by. Had it been a word that should have been censored they should allow you the option of changing it to something else. You didn't reach in and approve your own account, they did. I see that word used so many times in Pogo, under different variations that sometimes I think they should have a room called The American Kennel Association to allow the "female dogs" to gather.

that is really stupid since they already accepted your screen name and you playing under it for some time now and NOW they want to ban you because of it. its like pete rose and baseball cough hall of fame cough

Me too, Barbara. that's why I didn't think nothing of it when i made the name...I saw so many before me. I've had the name 3 years...and they just now decide to ban it. It doesn't make one bit of sense to me, but that's the Pogo way...here today...gone when they feel like giving you the heave ho.
Trust me, I have seen worse names.
i had the same problem 2 months ago madonna .. mine had that word in my id also and i got banned also .. nearly had all my badges too *sigh* and i had to start it all over again .. it suxs .. like i said to pogo when i complained to them about banning my id ..they shouldnt of accepted my id when i signed up for it a couple of years ago and they dont give u ur badges back from ur banned id that u earned to ..
