I'm trying Matchmaker, and it works fine, in that it runs well, but it doesn't seem to make very good choices. For example, I had four cards left, two straight across matches for one "heart" each, but instead of selecting the direct match, it picked diagonally. Still won the game, but 8 hearts instead of ten. Is there a fix on the way for this, or can I adjust it somehow?
This shouldn't matter, since it's otherwise working fine, but I'm using Window XP, Sun Java, and connect via a T-1 on Mozilla Firefox.
I'm not sure if there's a fix.. does upping the look ahead help with that at all?
I've noticed this too in the past, but I'm just happy to get where I'm going. It still does it better and faster than I would if I were playing manually. Look at the bright side. Oh, and it always helps me to not watch the auto that much... lol!
I agree, I was just watching for a while to make sure it didn't hang with a rank change or something, before I purchase it. I agree, it does better/faster than I do, and certainly has a longer attention span, although that's not saying very much. I did have it set to look ahead 8 moves, so I don't think that was it.
