I keep loosing the sound after like 10 mins of gameplay. I have to restart my browser.. It's annoying
The noise of the gameplay is far more annoying.
Agreed. I usually listen to music or watch tv while I play. I never play with the sound on.
But i want the sound ;D ;D ;D
I lose sound when i'm using Sun Java ... never had a problem with MS Java though
is the ms java still availiable?
Look in the club center.
is that really a known issue with sun java?
Not sure if it's a "known issue" .. but it is a problem for some people nonetheless.
Install MS Java .. i find the games run smoother using it (especially on my slower machines).
Should i get rid of anything before i install it? and itsn't ms java recalled
MS Java has not been recalled .. it's just not offically supported anymore.
If you do install it, make sure you do a windows update after. The critical update for it is bigger than the the original install file.
You don't need to get rid of anything before installing it.
There are like no updates for the ms java...
everytime i start up a pogo game the little java cup still comes up in my startbar
You should turn off the Sun Java.
Go to your internet options and then the "advanced tab" Scroll about half way down and uncheck all the Sun tabs and check all teh MSVM ones. Restart your browser.
Did you do a windows update to get the MSVM update?
There was nothing in my windows updates that said anything about msjm
i sometimes lose the sound on pogo, only usually a few mins then comes back and plays all the sounds ive missed all in 1 go.weird, but shouldnt last long
QuoteThere was nothing in my windows updates that said anything about msjm
It should be there and listed as "virtual machine".
I also found this tidbit on google :
Recognizing the need to provide a smooth transition for current users of the Microsoft® Java Virtual Machine (MSJVM), Sun Microsystems and Microsoft have agreed to extend Microsoft's license to use Sun's Java source code and compatibility test suites. This extension allows Microsoft to support the MSJVM until December 31, 2007, providing customers with the ability to transition from the MSJVM on a schedule and plan that is most effective for them.
So they haven't yanked the msjvm security update off windows update yet ...
