I'm not sure where to put this but here it goes, Everytime I play Checkers, pool, or Backgammon the game freezes up and I have to click it off. I have tried uninstalling java and reinstalling it and restarting computer, didn't work tried installing microsoft java restarting computer didn't work cleaned out cache and all that stuff and restarted computer and all still doesn't work tried IE and FireFox and it will NOT work on either. Does anyone know why It keeps freezing on only those games? Or how I can fix it? I can't get my checkers badge! Help!
Ohh and I even tried it on different name still didn't work
Did you delete the applet as well as your cache?
I was having trouble early this morning when I was checking out the checkers board but my connection was really slow. I don' t know if yours is related to everyone on the servers on something locally to your machine. Do you have another PC to check it out on? If not, maybe wait until tomorrow to see if it gets better then the load is less.
If none of these work, or if no one else can help you get it going, let me know and I'll give you a hand getting the badge.
i was able to play it against the computer took me 3 hours to get the badge i didnt use no auto because the auto did not work at all
cleared everything. Hasn't worked for me since I can remember ever trying to play it when I became a member Pogo. Just freezes up. I have I think its called cable connection for internet its usually fast no other games freeze up like that.

I'm just playing against the bots and I'm not having any problems. Are you all running autos, double browsing, or what? If you're trying to do too much with it, try to just play the bots and let me know if you still freeze up.
If this is an issue when you are not double browsing or using an auto, you may want to take it to pogo help.

no autos just me against computer or against another player it freezes up. Tried double browser did same thing
If you're still having trouble try deleting checkers in your temporary files & reistalling it.
tried that still doesn't work. I don't know I will just blame it all on Pogo but I aint goin to ask them for help they don't speak english in any of their emails!
