Ok. It downloaded the *fixed* version today. It is so unreliabe. One minute it works, the next it stalls and has to be reloaded. Then it worked for up to 24 and stopped again. I reloaded it and it worked sporadically up to 41 but only with me watching it while I worked at my desk. Here are some ofthe quirks I noticed. It has a lot of trouble in 1-10. Also whenever I had BONUS it tended to stop and I would have to play it manually. Sometimes it would work like a charm on the bonus round, other times it would just sit there. I had to close it and restart it at least every 10 minutes. It seems to fail around the 7-9 round almost every time. I got the message: Graphics failure on internal drive and not enough storage space available to process this command. I would then close it, open it up again and it would work fine, for a while.
Specs:
Internet Explorer or Firefox, makes no difference, problems present on both
Bit 32
smooth fonts enable or off, makes no difference, same problems occor
Java or MSVM same thing, problems occur on both
Screen resolution 1152x864... i tired the others, it made no differnce by lowering it. Same problems and then I had to reorganize everytihing on my desk top and nearly went blind trying to see it.
So(sigh) it works now but not without babysitting it constantly. The main problems seem to be between rounds 1-10 and when the bonus shows up. It is almost as if POGO or Sushi doesn't want you to get the bonus. It invariably faiils to play the round when you have B O N U and only need the S.
So bottom line, in my opinion, a major improvement, since at least it works a little now, but still has some major kinks in it and you better be there to watch it. This isn't a walk away and leave it auto on my computer. In fact it is the only auto that I have persistant, constant problems. Others have their little qiirks here and there, but not as often or severe as sushi.
I often wonder that if by posting these things here it gives Pogo all the information they need on how to make the autos not work. ::)
