Delete whatever you have and redownload. Version 2.1 has been released. Run it and it will put an icon on your desktop and in your start menu. If it doesn't install correctly the first time, double click on the shield again and re-install. A few of you may have problems with it clicking though to the next game. We are working on this

Mine works fine as far as clicking next game. This is a good auto and really reliable. But it stops when you reach a new rank. Not such a huge deal if you are in the gold ranks but in the silver, that requires frequent monitoring. Still I love this auto. It's my favorite.   O0 O0 O0

:D new version worked but it lost a game against a computer and swaped letters the other version never did and it always won for me :(

This auto is so awesome. I hate to ask this again but I want to be able to leave it and go. It is fun to watch the words it comes up with and it is my favorite auto, so I won't complain too much.   ;) But a fix on that problem would be FABULOUS.

My QWERTY  auto has stopped working. It was great when I got it...got me through all of the ranks, but I just checked it to make sure this weeks challenges were covered and it doesn't work at all. I load the QWERTY lounge, pick a room, set it up for 1000 points, 2 minute timer, private table. The table loads and I load the QWERTY auto then slide it to fastest and the auto jumps behind the table. Then the fun begins... the lounge jumps up in front I minimize it....it comes back...I X it off and it comes back again. this continues until my computer freezes and I have to do a hard reboot.
My computer specs are as follows:

Browser » Microsoft Internet Explorer

Screen Resolution » 1024x768

Color Depth » 32 bit

Smooth Fonts* » Disabled

The only thing that is different since I last used the auto is that I loaded msjvm to make the Space Vac auto work. Can that be the problem and if so, how do I fix it? Thank you

what java are you using right now ?MSVM?

That is what I am assuming since that is what Barbara told me how to download for the Stellar Vac auto

Dont worry, its not just you. i just tried on both MSVM and sun and it is doing the same thing, popping the lobby back and forth. Guess they changed it during the update.

I asked about that a few days ago and Barbara said to-

Delete the version you have and download the newest version.  It takes care of the auto bringing up the tables page.  The only thing is (as mentioned above), it doesn't click through a new rank box.

Thanks Snare, that worked. I deleted the old version, loaded the newer version and played a game. It worked great. The game rank isn't a problem for me since I already have the gamemaster badge. Thanks for your help and Thanks to the "Powers that be" for fixing the problem before I even knew there was a problem! ;) O0

Mine works fine except for the new rank box. I suggest you go back to Sun to use it. I too had the MSVM on for Stellar and when I went to use the QWERTY auto it acted up. I changed it back to Sun and rebooted and it works great. Remember, you have to reboot after you click the Sun Java back on.  ;)

Actually, you only have to close your browser windows and reopen them when you switch javas.

While running this auto and the window pops up saying I have a new rank, for some reason the auto does not understand something. it sits there and will not click ok.... therefor wont continue running pass this point.. other than that it runs rather smoothly.

Anyone else having this problem. any solutions ?

This issue has been discussed, it is my understanding that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. This version was released as a beta, i believe.

You must be going for tokens or something because if you are going for the badges, winning or losing doesn't matter.  When matters is placing tiles.  :)  If you are going for tokens, I'd suggest searching for the thread about what program wins the most tokens.  If you are going for game badges, I'd suggest sitting back and enjoying the auto placing the tiles and advancing you through the ranks ;D

Im not bothered bout the tokens.

Just pointing out that the last time i was using this auto....I was winning 1000 point games 1000 to 300 etc....nowadays if i win...its only by 50 to 100 points.

so somethings up wouldnt u say?

Not really, it could be but it could also just be the luck of the tile draw.  I don't really care if I win or lose when I'm using this auto.  Winning may look impressive but if I'm using an auto to get it, it sort of like cheating when you are playing solitaire.  I actually like it when my win percentage isn't too close to the 100% mark as well because that just invites comment.  The other thing is that as a rule, I don't pay attention to the autos when I turn them on as long as they keep advancing me up the levels.   And if they don't I send them to bed without their PIE.  Trust me, after a day or two of that, they are much better behaved. ;)

Sapphire80,
Make sure that the code your program shows is the same one you sent to Oscar.  There have been times when the auto code will change before you get the reg code from Oscar put in.  If it is not, follow the link to replace a lost code and send it off to Oscar with your proof of purchase and a quick note telling him what happened.   Good luck.

I have been having an awful time getting this to work.  It worked beautifully at first and I now I cannot get it to work at all. I have trying deleting but it seems all I can delete is the desktop icon.  I cannot find it when I go to the add/delete in the control panel. I would apreciate any help.  Thank you,  :'(

These are the message I get when I launch YUIOP:

>Connection error.
>The handle is invalid.
>Critical error reading rack.
>Black listing.
>No letters in rack.

Specs:  1024x768
           32 bit
           Smooth edges - unlocked
           Browser: IE
           Java:  MVM

There is a link on badgehelp.com website that will delete all badgehelp files.

My tip for you for the future is to create a new folder under my documents.
Name it pogo or badgehelp etc.
Then download your autos to that folder.
Autos are then easily deleted from the folder when updates arrive.
I use quite a few folders to keep them smaller in size.
hope this helps

i experienced that problem earlier as well... but now...

this new version of YUIOP i am using is doing the window thing again. it is not recognizing the window anymore for the game. It is now going behind the window just like the older version of YUIOP did.... anyone else having this problem again??

Not me.  I'm running it now and it is running fine except I have to click go after each letter.  That is a minor thing though and when I see it pop up, just get my old bones up outa my lazy boy and get my daily exercises.    ;)

Okay this is really bugging me. I am using YUIOP 2.1 and the qwerty pogo game is popping up in front of my other windows now. This causes the auto to NOT work properly obviously because it's behind the qwerty window. This happened prior to the update as well. It's the same problem, but well... it's back again. :( Has anyone else had this problem?? It just started for me this evening. I didn't have any problems earlier using the auto program.

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc) WIN XP
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc) IE
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc) 32BIT
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768) 1024/768
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using - HAPPENS ON EITHER JAVA
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program STARTS BUT CAN'T FIND BROWSER... POGO QWERTY KEEPS POPPING UP AND OVER OTHER WINDOWS/AUTO PROGRAM. SAME PROBLEM AS BEFORE.

interrressssttttiiinnggg.... I just found out what the problem was...

I noticed that this time when I started up QWERTY... it kind of froze up and the monitor flickered. Turns out it somehow reset my color to 16bit color... that apparently must have been what caused the program not to work properly. It seems to be working properly now.
