I was able to DL this today on my Cingular phone... my question is, does anyone know how you sign into your acct? I couldn't figure it out... for those who have verizon, how do you sign in and transfer tokens etc and work towards badges???

I have a question regarding the poppit on cell phone... if I am playing poppit on the cell it says it will load my token count etc.. to my pogo acct. via JP spins .. if I am running an auto (shhhhh) will it disconnect my puter acct to download or will it keep playing>???? did that ?? make any sence? If not we can blame it on the medication .. good stuff I even like my teenage daughter right now.. (just kidding, shes a great kid)

on Cingular if you just text message the word POPPIT to 386 you will get a service message that wil let you download it
I tried that the other day and it didn't work for me. I didn't get no message at all back from them. Does this mean we can also get TriPeaks, and Turbo by text messaging them?

I search my history from yesterday and got the page that I couldn't get to today, but . . . I went to the cingular website just now and put pogo poppit in the search window, and yes it comes up again.

To the person asking about using the auto and playing on your cell phone. My friend just told me that she was using an auto, and playing on her cell phone and she did not get disconnected in either place. I am not sure if this is true or not because I don't use autos. Hope this helps.

Oh ok. Thank you Lish. Yes, I am able to sign in but I quit because my stepfather will have a fit if I keep spending with each kilobyte. When I talked to Verizon they told me that as long as you were using it during free time it would be free. I guess Cingular is doing it differently.

Do you see a sign in link under Difficulty, and Sound. It should say "Sign In" and you click on it. Once you sign in you can have it save it so you don't have to do it every time.
you know what? I can't sign in OR change the sound. Mine has no sound either. JUST difficulty under Options. UGH! What shoudl I do?

Yes I have a media net package with just 1 mg or whatever usuage from cingular. I just went to their website looked at my multi media package. I have a bundle for 9.99 a month, so tommorrow I'm changing it to a basic plan for the same prixe which come with 5 k. And I have no idea if this is sufficient or not.
Did you have to create a multi media messaging account. I did . . . and that's where you go look at what you are billed. I believe your usuage will show up there, as you are billed. I looked at mine, and the charge for the game is their so they do it very quickly. I haven't seen any usuage for the airtime accrued. But . . . you should find out if you have a multi media plan or if you are charge by the kilobyte. I think it is .01 got each kilobyte used. I don't know how far my plan with get me, so I'm very cautious.
I've decided to not sign in, play my games, then upload the at the end of the day or week or whatever. You will not get jp spins, but when you update, you will progress in ranks for the game.
I got badge 1 today, and 63% to badge 2 ;D

If you don't see it then you are probably signed in. It stays signed in until you log out. If I close out the game altogether, the next time you do those steps, that is if I am logged out, you will get a screen that says logged in. If you are logged in, you get an update screen, which irritates me, cause stats don't need updated. I don't know what else to tell you. Everybody should be getting the same thing on their phones, unless it has to do with style model of the phone, which I don't think is applicable. Sorry I am not helping much.

I think it was about 10 played between normal and hard games for the first badge. It goes up faster on hard.
I've won 44 games and I'm 65% to the next badge. So it hasn't been so bad. I thought I couldn't play poppit without Thunderpopper ;D You soon learn to use that undo button. O0

Make sure you are signed in and update the stats if you are not. If you are signed in then I don't know, cause mine is working correctly.

You don't sign in and play the game. The phone keeps your stats until you log in and update. The only difference not being signed in is you don't get those ridiculous 25 token jp spins. When you update, you sign in and update the stats and your progress shows the next time you play the game and you are signed in. I know it's confusing, I played all day to try to figure it out.

I got the POPPIT to download on my phone with the text to 386.. however i'm like you Lish I can't find a place to sign in.. I called cingular and explained the problem.. the person I spoke to is very familiar with POGO thank goodness and he said seems to be a problem with the software possibly from their end.. he has put in a report for this issue and said they will call me back or text me with the solution, may have to re-download but he said there will be credit given if thats the case. If you still have not been able to sign in i'll be glad to let you know what I find out.. if you have figured it out please let me know if you can.

Yeah I sign in just fine, but today the server has been down. But you exit out of games, close your phone and begin anew. Go to games, then choose pogo poppit, a window comes up, and out of the main menu you choose options. If you are signed In, it won't be there, if you are signed out, there it is.
Also when playing the game, hit the menu button, and choose Main Menu to get back to the main options and choose main menu. Mine seems to be just fine.

When I called them the person I spoke to got a phone there identical to mine and tried to get it signed in and there was on option to do so either... its like they forgot to put that portion in their soft ware or something..... my phone is doing the same as Lish.. I understand what some are saying about where to go etc.. and see the sign in but as she said Its not there... and even when i'm not signed in its still not there... playing the game does not automatically sign you in from my phone.. I have played 24 games and won 20 of them and have not even gotten a JP spin, so that tells me its not signed in..... Nope, I'm on Cingular downloaded the yesterday. The server has been down all day though, and that sucks.
It sounds like they screwed up the software.. I wonder if the DL is different depending on your phone and maybe those of us with a certain phone or whom dl'd it a certain way got jacked up software? Man I hope they fix it.

Well it's not officially released yet. But . . . I don't know how the software can be any different. I downloaded mine from the Cingular website. I will tell, it was HARD finding the sign-in page, but I found it. Now when I end the game, and go back to play, it asks me to sign it. Usually I just suspend it until I go back to play.

On my phone, if you exit out the game, then go back in, it will ask you to sign in. If you are in suspend mode, then on the main menu, option menu, I have displayed these option. Difficulty, Sound, [Sign In} and [Help]

You can't use an auto for any Pogo Mobile games. Plain and simple, eh? The only way to play the games is the old fashion using your fingers and brain. I know it's a pain in the arse but these games are easy (except Tri-Peaks... still trying to get rank 5!) and should go rather quickly! Hopes this answers your question.

pogo's admitted problems with aol the last couple days
I was able to update my stats this moring about 5 am.
Talked to Cingular this evening regarding my Poppit mobile game. I downloaded my game via text message to 386 or something like that, anyway they took the charge off my bill and told me to delet the game.. then went to the cingular website and signed up in their MediaNet. I already had an online acct with them to check billing etc.. but I guess the MediaNet thing is a totally different thing, so they told me to now re-download the game from there and see if that will make it all come through properly.. they said by doing it via the text like I did it came from a 3rd party provider and by going to their site it is directly from them...... I have to wait untill tomorrow to re-download due to making the new acct. on MediaNet it takes a few hrs I guess for it to establish... anyway just another note in the ongoing saga of Pogo Mobile/Cingular.

I am still a bit upset because it seems like I am getting nowhere. I updated my stats this morning, and I won 105 games on normal diificulty and am only at 12.5%. That doesn't seem right at all. My fingers are tired! :-[
I hope you have some luck doing it that way- I dl'd mine straight from my phone though and am still having the same problem.

Yes, this is for the 1st badge. I played only on Normal, and have about 120 games done now. I think I am being cheated. Cingular or Pogo sucks! >:( I think it's both.

I believe those are two different stats. I think to advance in Poppit you need to win the game (pop all of the balloons with prizes). The other stat you reference should only be a tally of how many balloons you've popped, but it probably doesn't relate to advancing in rank. I haven't seen this in writing though so may be off base here. :)

Nope does not sound correct. I was progressing good the other day, but found I must take the jp spin to continue progessing. Can't save stats on phone, cause it gives credit for one game. At any rate, not getting credit for 100 games, I just got the rank 3 badge after about 100 on hard. It may be more than this my phone is charging.

Can you please explain what you mean by only getting credit for one game. Does this mean that we have to be signed in all the time to get credit. As we talked about in another topic, we weren't taking the jp spins and getting an update all at once. Are you saying we have to go online after every game?

I have three badges, 110 games on hard. I find it just as easy to play on hard, but here is a tip. Start off on easy, switch to hard before you win the game and you will get credit for hard. LOL!

The only good that will come from this is: 1) you can keep playing the game and it will still progress until they make it available outside of Verizon and 2) you won't have to worry about connection time taking minutes off your phone plan. While it's still a bunch of bull, you can keep yourself happy knowing that you won't lose those stats or mins!

Can you please explain what you mean by only getting credit for one game. Does this mean that we have to be signed in all the time to get credit. As we talked about in another topic, we weren't taking the jp spins and getting an update all at once. Are you saying we have to go online after every game?
The first day I played the game I moved up by not being online. For the first badge, on hard, the percent went up by at least 7%. I can't remember I didn't play many games for the first badge. Then the next day, I couldn't connect to server. The next day, I could log in and I played many games, but when I updated I got progress for 3% when I had calculated that I had to play 53 games to get that next badge. When I updated it gave me credit for one game.
Today, when I log in, I get server error, but it does log me in, but when I win again, it says user not recognised. So I don't know what is happening. All I can say, I think they have to work out the bugs, cause it's not working properly. Not for me anyway.
I'm holding off until I get some answers to why I can't even connect right now.
I also tried to update I think it was yesterday, and get the message "User not found."
ARGH! That sucks! Wonder how long we will have to wait! What a freakin tease! >:(

I know, it's like putting candy in front of a Baby, or crack in front of an addict. I keep trying to sign in, and guess what. about two hours ago I signed in. LOL!!! But I played a few games testing the stats, and it's still not uploading the stats if you play offline. It does okay if you get your jp spin after you win a game. I already went and got the $14.95 media package, the one that has 10 meg.

You might want to try in now, it's connection time. ;D I connected a few hours ago, but stay online to play your games cause updating the stats will now give you the credit you deserve O0

If you go to the cingular site and go to games, you can select your phone from the list and it should tell you from there.
