The new monthly case is available!  :D

Thanks, Homer!

If we do it now, before the badge becomes available in our albums, what will happen? Will it still appear or will we cause a pogo oopsie?  :-\

I don't believe it would be a problem, I think the badge would show up anyway. But as of now it's a moot point cuz the badge has shown up in the album.

Have you try shutting off your sound I had the same problem you did but with my sound off it goes little faster and and it gets the puzzle done without any problems so far.

does anyone have a copy of a older version of the Jigsaw auto?  I tried the latest version but it's to slow for me even on the fastest setting. all help would be considered very generous.

I want an update on it. It needs to win on hard and be faster.

I'm a user of the Jigsaw auto and I say it's a great product. I play on Medium on the fastest speed and I have my puzzles solved in less than 6 mins... While I know we would all like to have a auto that works on the "hard" level, I'm assuming it's a little difficult to program the auto to rotate the pieces when they show up in random directions. If they were to program the auto to move the pieces around until they fit, it would probably make the auto SLOWER since it will have to check each piece in each slot and rotate it until it fit. Then if it doesn't fit, it would move to the next piece. If you think about the time, it could take anywhere from 10 - 20 mins on fast do that. I say be happy with Medium and that fast speed!

That true. I bet it is hard to program them to rotate I never thought about that. Im trying to come up with a spare $10 then I can get it. :) ;)

I could care less at this point if we get an auto that runs and the hard level, I can't even get an auto that runs on any other level. I agree with you Rowdyone... that is exactly how my auto is working very slow, then stops completly.
I wonder if we can get an older version. I would like to try 6.0. I have 6.3.  :'(

Post by: TmT on December 03, 2005, 11:01:27 AM
hmmm I have a prob with v6.3 also... it will do the border in a split second--then sit......
so I use v1.0.. lol <workz fo' me> even though its old... it getz da job done
where as no other version will :(

I dont know if it makes a difference, or matters, or whatever

My Jigsaw works best with Firefox .. on IE it takes about 6-7 mins on Medium ... On Firefox it gets each puzzle done within 3 minutes, Longest I think was 3 mins 2 seconds ... Yeah, occasionally it glitches, or the drawer sticks, but its a helluva lot better than me doing it by hand, soo I dont have a single complaint  O0

Post by: Spice It Up on December 03, 2005, 11:06:36 AM
tokens... yes that is what mine does, it does border then when that tray thing comes down, it stops and nothing happens. I don't have any other version to switch with so I am stuck.. with 10 down the drain, and no good auto to use.  I am so sad. The thing that makes me most unhappy, is it has to happen with the game I hate most. :'( :(

I have the 6.0 version and it does work on hard. But, it does have it's flaws. It will not work the newer puzzles and then takes a few games to get really get it started good. It did finish my puzzle in 4 minutes.

My Jigsaw Detector tells me with a pop up that it will only work on Medium difficulty.  50% of the time IF the pieces of the puzzle show up in the 1st screen, it will complete the border...its on the subsequent rows that there is a problem.  It might get the 1st row 75% of the time 2nd row 50% of the time. It has NEVER completed a puzzle for me yet.

OMG, I was playing the other day trying to catch up being 9 cases behind and all. I played in a room for a while and then when I changed rooms I noticed it started me back on case one. I checked my stats to make sure they weren't cleared and they are not. This was two days ago, and when I tried it again today same thing no progress. DOH! :'(

Why does my game stop when the tray with the pieces comes out. The game seems to fill the border, but when the tray pulls out for the inside pieces, it has a major brain fart and stops. The program docks and is indicating its running. It's not and has stopped.

Can someone help out a man child who enjoys his cheats?

SonnyVegas... I have ask this question a hundred time, and no one has givin me a direct answer, except saying... "try turning sound off, try different browser, try this java, try that java"...etc. Which I am very grateful for, there were a few that I haven't tried yet, but it still didn't bring me any luck. I think it is something wrong with the auto or the way jigsaw is reacting to it. I have heard, if you read above, that either a new auto or the same auto getting repaired, is in the works. So, what I am doing now is sitting tight and waiting patiently to see if this other one will do the trick. I am very anxious. I can't stand jigsaw, but like their badges. So it is a must have for me. We will see wat happens!  :-\

No there isn't.

If you are trying to get the badge where you need to win on the hard setting start the puzzle and auto on medium difficulty and when you have a few pieces left that haven't been placed stop the auto. Change the difficulty to hard and continue the same puzzle and you can place the last couple pieces manually and get the badge.
