Title: Greenback Bayou Stragegy
Post by: LadyDi on January 09, 2006, 02:30:44 PM
Okay, thought I would "prepare" for the Bayou challenge (never played the game before).

Question:  What is the strategy of playing this game?  Aren't the number of moves predetermined AND where to jump your frogs?

Either I am missing something or this game is designed for 4 year olds  >:D

There is no strategy. I am not being biased when I say "just get the auto, it's the best thing for you"

This game is completely moronic and an advanced 4 year old would know that game was beneath him/her.

Guess I got my answer - moronic game -- and yes, I will let my auto suffer the torture.  But, I bet even IT gets bored, lol.

That's the great thing about an application program, it CAN'T get bored. Artificial Intelligence is great in that way, no human emotions leaves little to be desired.  :o

There is some strategy involved.
How you jump the frogs around can make a difference in the total # of jumps made.
I would suggest...
Take a quick look and start hopping. Really Quick!!!!
When you can't jump anymore, go on to the next one.
OR
Let your auto go through the pain & torture for you  ;D

I'm with all of you. The "game" requires very little thought. Any strategy would be close to pointless...so you get 4 flies instead of 3...you have to jump until you are out of options...grrrrrrr.

goodluck everyone...make sure your friends are well-rested - lol.

I could be a sadist, but I enjoy Greenback Bayou. The tokens per min are really good. Besides I got over 500,000 tokens from it by hand and I dont play it alot

Well ummm I hate to say this here since I know I will hear it. But I let my 3 yr old play it for me. So she will get me the badge today. She does have to take breaks though since she too gets bored with it. Please do not send me messages about child labor laws....lol

Well, I have to say that getting that badge was very easy, and very fast.  Got it in about 30 minutes.  And like someone else said, it's a good thing we didn't have to get 500 fireflies.  That one badge getting 200 of them - well, let's just say I was becoming psychotic.   >:D

My 3 y/o doesn't quite get the game (she'd rather put together puzzles) SO.... I usually invite the neighbors over (who have kids) and tell them I'll split the money with the if they win. The thought of $500 puts them in a frenzy!
