the auto will not help you,, because u will never find a partner willing to help you that way, and no other player in pogo will hook up with you cuase the auto sux for ratings, the only way to do it is double browse with someone,i have moved up in rating from 1354 to 1727, with help , but i want more time, but my partner is not on as much? i was trying to get a people network from people here to try an do this , but no one seems willing to, takes to much time i guess ,lol , but this is the fastest way to do it. if ya have that much time to get , ( i think) the hardest badges to get,, (besides bingo) this is the only way, then once someone got there master rating , just play a game with someone trying to get there's an help em out , but i guess thats to much to do or ask for to ,  :-\ :-\ :-\  , if your looking for some help to do this an help me , i would be glad to dump off my rating points to you,,, u ready to play ,,,, yahoo ID is tjr635 lets get er done,,, oh an double browsers only please , an i keep up with the pogo links for free passes , just make a new ID to have a 1500 point rating , i'll get u that if you relpy,,, HAGD all

I like pinochle so it wasn't hard for me to sit for endless hours to get the ranks and the badges. As for the rating, a friend and I did the double browser thing and she got the 3rd rating, I got the 2nd. We decided to take a break for a while. I'm ready to continue on though so if anyone wants to join up with me, let me know.

I'm using smart explorer and I'm finding the game a little tough...I've read the how to play and looked at the tutorial and just when I think I understand the game the accounts I'm using as my opposition still got the intermediate badges before I did :D lol

I use the auto to get the badges I need for Pinochle.  It works fine for me and it does go up in rank also.  I have played the game by hand and I have read all the rules about the game also, but it seems if I play it by hand or use the auto I get the badges in the same amount of time.  Good Luck to everyone on getting these badges.

Since I've been playing this game for over 30 years and love playing it, if you need help in learning the game, PM me and we'll get together sometime and I'll help you with the basics.

It took me a little while to learn pinochle, but once you get the hang of it...it's actually quite fun. This is one of the few card games I don't mind playing.

The Pinocle helper works real good on getting the badges.  I don"t think I will be getting the other ones
(rated).  My aunt tried to teach me this game back somethime ago.  I suck then and I stiill suck.  I don't too well in hearts either lol.  I like spades.

Helen, just out of curiousity, is the game in real life very similar to Pogo's version. I never played it before it came out on Pogo and learned the Pogo version quickly, but that's the only place I've ever played it.

I'm also wondering the same thing about Canasta. I guess the Red 3s are Pogo's way of having something to advance your ranks.

There are a couple of variations in Pinochle, depending on how long ago you learned the game and who you are playing with, just as in other games. The variation here is the one I've played for years. As for Canasta, the red 3's are worth extra points, just as on here.

I hope they got your messages, and you find some people to play with.

bad thing about playing with bots and then real people.... when your bot makes a stupid bid your cussing at the computer... when with real people you might let those cuss words slip and get punched in the mouth  LOL

Once upon a time I had dial up.  My puter kept crashing and I kept curseing.  The pages loaded slow and I grew impaitent.  Then one day hubby said I'm getting dsl and theres nothing you can do about it.  He called the phone company, a nice man came out, my dog licked him senseless and we got dsl.  Now the pages load fast, pogo runs smoother and no more curseing and crashing.  I will never go back to dial up again.  The end.  ::)

We originally had cable, because we didn't have DSL in our area then....Now i prefer my DSL to the cable service.......cable service was always going out during storms and stuff.....but still, anything better than dial-up

I would look for a picture of a lady pulling her hair out but by the time I could get it to load my vacation would be over ... so everyone will have to use their imaginations ... LOL
I've had dsl for a while and had forgotten how annoying dial up was ... think I figured out what I'm getting my parents for their birthdays, christmas, anniversary, etc.   ;)

I remember when the the new hubby only wanted dail-up and I was only used to cable.. So I went ahead called the cable company and had it hooked up to my computer and left him stay on dail-up...lol  needless to say he was never at his machine and converted to cable and has never looked back either.

I have DSL through bellsouth, and it runs great (compared to AOL).  I still log into AOL, but after an hour or 2 i get booted. Don't even get me started on AOL dial up. That was the worst experience of online drama I ever experienced. Two words...never again.

I always have alot of problems on aol also Madonna exspecially with the games not loading and pages not comming up Grrrrr. And the more they update aol seems the more problems come up.

What is the worst...you're in the middle of something, and they need to update their spyware protection. This happens quite often, at least once per week (but here lately, every other day :o). Then, AOL freezes where you can't close it, except by the ctrl=alt=del method. Persoonally I'm sick of it. And it seems to always happen when I'm on pogo.

OMG don't even get me started on aol freezing up and the ctrl  alt  + del  button... LOL  now I get aol install everyday while I am on and if I am on a few hrs it comes up at least 2 times

I've been on AOL since 1996, no complaints. I used dial-up from 96-99, then an EDU T1 connection from 99-2004. I've had Comcast HSI for about a year, also great. I've stayed logged into AOL for up to 6 days before, no drops. Am I the only AOL supporter? lol

I'm with you on this one I have SBC DSL and still have my AOL account. I have never had any problems out of there service.  When it updates I never know anything about it and I'm sure it does. Must be something in my settings that allow for auto updates. You might want to check your settings out.

We AOL supporters have to stand together.   ;)    Both of us!  LMAO 8)
