hi have have got the auto for jigsaw detective it all starts well the auto places the edging to the puzzle ,then goes to the top layer and lays a couple of pieces and then the mouse just goes back and forth like crazy and thats how it remains ,i have reset it ,and restarted it and it has yet never ever completed a puzzle ,does any1 know why this isn't working plz :-\.
my PC is run on windows xp,1024 by 768 pixels and 32 bit ,and i use broadband connection ,as i really really hate this game but would like the badges any help would be appreciated O0,

Star i have had the same problem too, I posted for help and recieved none, i did hear a new version was coming out, but again that was mid-December when that was posted. I have been waiting on an update myself. Sorry i was no help, just thought i would let you know your not alone. :'(

hi yes im using jigsaw dectector version 6.3 and my java is sun java with update 6 hope this helps ,

I have 6.3 also and still cant get it to work, i finally gave up and im waiting for an update ive switched everything around and still no luck, oh well good luck all
I know I've seen the answer somewhere here in the forum and I've been doing a search and can't seem to find it. Hopefully Homer or Oscar will answer you soon.
:) I had a problem with doing the puzzles too and I slowed down the clicking speed now all is well!

6.0 works like a charm on medium with Sun Java enabled. None of the others work for me. Good luck! :)

I'm running Windows XP with the must up-to-date Sun Java.
I have an IBM ThinkCentre.
Pentium 4 2.66GHz
768MB RAM (512 and a 256)
Changing the speed doesn't make much of a difference.... slowing it down simply delays the error from occurring :)

Try this version I use it because it is so fast. Its not perfect but will only take 1.5 hours per case. If you have the other version registered this one will be also :-X

OMG you are the best for posting this. I have tried every single Jigsaw auto I could find and none worked for me. They all went to new puzzle over and over. This one solved a puzzle in 3 to 4 minutes. That is excellent considering none of the others worked. I am all up to date with my cases as I did them all by hand. But this will help a great deal for my mom's account. Thank you again! :)

I dont wish to throw a spanner in the works off this thread but my jigsaw works fine, it solves all the puzzles very fast and with no trouble,
I know all you people struggling probably dont want to hear that,but i think it all depends on your puter i have autos i cannot get to work that other people say work fine for them,
I am sure that they will release a version that will run on your puter soon.
Just trying to Help and give another version to try for the folks that 6.3 wont work for. :P
