I personally haven't tried it yet but please tell me how it turns out O0 I had just gotten this recipe and a few others out of a magazine I just bought so I haven't tried it yet :)
;) Turned out wonderful!!! My usually fussy kids ate it over rice & loved it too!! Hubby took some to work for lunch. Only thing I did different was to add some black pepper to the flour when I coated the beef cubes. I bought a sirloin tip roast(it was on sale) and used for this. Oh and added a can of sliced mushrooms too (we love mushies!!) Give it a whirl...I'm sure you will like it. O0 O0 O0
I have it in the cooker right now. . . . . I also bought a roast (I saw the price of stew meat :-[ )and threw some seasoning in the flour LOL I also bought mushrooms but I'm not gonna put them in til there is like 3 hours left. I'm glad you liked it now lets see if mine comes out that good LOL
Thanks for the Great Meal Idea spb.gif
Printed it out and gonna buy ingredients tomorrow~Thanks~ sp.gf
read this post few days ago an mouth been watering since, i went an bought the campbells cream of mushroom soup, and pork cutlets, an threw it in oven with top on, at 300...lil different then the beef recipe, (i modified) but came out so so good.
I looked at plate an said, theres no color lol, had the pork baked in the cream of mushroom, and put it on top of mashed potatos, with bread an butter on side. very tasty, an quick idea, to add to anyones recipe book-creamed of whatever u choose, baked like a caserole , or slow cooker-in meat of choice. O0 also bread crumbs on top, gives it a crunchy topping.
I had a feeling that pork would also work well with this recipe...ty for posting Pink O0 O0

They sell crock pots almost anywhere, I got a nice sized one at Walmart for about $20. Sears may be a bit more expensive than that.
I'm having trouble finding a rice steamer. I'm looking for a kind that will steam rice and veggies both, not neccessarily at the same time, and also that's rather inexpensive. All i've found at walmart is a rice cooker, and it won't do veggies.

Okay .. I never knew they had veggie steamers. Ive always just put some water in a pan, and I have a metal mesh strainer, with a handle - that coincidentally fits into my pan (Not bought at the same time same place or anything) and throw a lid on top of it.
Im not being stupid .. okay well not intentionally .. but they really make veggie steamers?

I used to do it that way, but it's such a pain.
A friend of mine has a small black and decker rice steamer, if you take the rice bowl out, you can add veggies and it will steam them. Look it up on any site for food and rice steamers, they got tons.
Wow .. you really do learn something new everyday!
