Title: sherlock
Post by: mawmawtosix on March 27, 2006, 11:34:40 AM
Sherlock is only pulling the puzzle pieces to the side and not finishing the puzzle.  When it does pull them to the side a message comes up that says piece not read.   How can this be fixed he.gif

I am also having trouble with both sherlock and jigsaw.
specs are
Browser » Microsoft Internet Explorer

Screen Resolution » 1024x768

Color Depth » 32 bit

Smooth Fonts* » unchecked

Java  tried both Sun and msvm

Windows XP sp2

jigsaw puts edges together and nothing more. Sherlock pull pieces to side and then nothing keeps saying bad indentity. I had both programs slowed down as far as they would go. Have emptyed my cache and rebooted.....can anyone help?

OK, I've given up on Sherlock and Jigsaw detective in general :'(. I go in and try to play the game by hand and no pieces show, so I clear the cashe, reboot, go back in and can play one game and have to start all over again. All my other autos are working just fine...I can find no reason why this one shouldn't. Thank you all for your help and suggestions

Try using MicrosoftVM and make sure (JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled) is ticked.

That fixed mine  O0
