Title: New
Post by: PogoKaz on March 28, 2006, 03:57:30 AM
Hi, newbie here saying hello from England.

I have a couple questions if anyone can help me, (I have tried reading everything but either I can find the answer or I am confused  ;D)

1. Is there anyway to complete extra challanges ie you can only complete one challange badge a week and I have the whole of 2003/4 and most of 2005 badges to collect.
2. People mention using glitches and cheats can get you banned.  Does this mean you have to pay the money again.  Its £29.99 over here about $18. Also you can enter or receive prizes for tokens are worthless.
3. People mention having two accounts......do you have to pay twice ?

Hi and welcome to PC
A few times a year Pogo will have personal challenge marathons and you can do 3 old challenges. Other then that you can only do 1 per week.
Yes you can be banned for using glitches and cheats. Most of the time it's for 72 hrs. but it can be permanent.
Yes you would have to pay for a new account if you received a permanent ban.
If you use autos you can not receive any prizes. They will audit your account. Don't even bother to claim them you won't get them and it will cause you trouble.
Yes if you have 2 club accounts you will have to pay for both. Non club accounts cost nothing.

Welcome. One thing about the prizes you might find interesting. It is available for US and Canadian residents excluding Quebec You may not be able to collect any wins. Check out the prize O0 rules to be sure. Anybody know why they excluded Quebec   O0

Not forsure,   but most Canadians feel that those in Quebec are too stuck up,  and they feel Quebec should be it's own country,   and they don't follow normal laws as the rest of Canada does,  they seriously think they are better than Canada and deserve their own country.   Anyways,   that could have something to do with it.   But not entirely sure here.

I seriously doubt that the reason Quebec is excluded is because someone thinks that Quebecians (properly spelled Québécois) are "stuck up" or have different political views than the rest of Canada.  I mean, why would Pogo, an American company, really care aobut those issues?

And for what it's worth, I was in Quebec and Montreal and I found the people to be delightful.  Montreal is a beautiful city and th Quebec countryside will take your breath away.

I'm in Scotland, and I guess we have the same situation here with the 'Englands' as others have with Quebec!  ;)
