Title: Microwave Peach Cobbler
Post by: Luna on April 13, 2006, 06:04:59 AM
1 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
½ cup (1 stick) margarine
2 (15 ¼-ounce) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup

Whisk the sugar, flour and milk in a bowl until smooth. Melt the margarine in a microwave-safe baking dish in the microwave. Pour the batter over the melted butter and top with the peaches and syrup. Microwave on High for 10 minutes. Brown under the broiler in a conventional oven. Remove to a wire rack to cool.

You can get about 6 to 8 servings from it. e5.gif>

I love peaches but damn if you can buy a decent one these days. I remember as a kid eating peaches the size of my fist and they were so juicy. These days they are the size of a cueball and just as hard as one.  :o >:(

Good fruits are difficult to find.  :(

Did you check in the "What's Cooking" section?  I think there might be some barbecue recipes in there. (https://www.pogocheats.net/proxy/?http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5elf/bbq.gif)
