1 medium onion, finely diced
3 T. olive oil
1/2 stick (2 oz) butter
3 T. all-purpose flour

Ha ha ha ha, that's not funny at all but since there were no cheese, I can say that sounds like a tasty recipe. I might even try it if I can find some onions that are already finely diced!

Oh I have no problems with onions and I cut them myself but I can never get them small enough for some recipes so I have to search for the finely diced ones or let my GF cut them smaller for me. And yes I did laugh so :P

Most lactose intolerant people like myself...
...then again, there are pills so people can enjoy dairy products. I just don't like the taste of cheese!

Actually, you're the second person I've ever known that doesn't like cheese. It took me a while to absolrb the fact that my friend in Philly (Home of the Philly Cheesesteak) DID NOT like cheese. The fact that you don't like cheese is much more easy to absorb since I've already gone through this before.
I'm lactose intollerant, and I take those little pills. I couldn't live without cheese. :D
