Hiya all,
Here's a question. I was happily playing QWERTY today, when someone came in and played me. I won the next three games in a row (no programme). She then wrote '' U.N.C.L.E. !!!!! '' and stormed out of the room. Am i being ncredibely stupid to ask what the heck it means? Hope you can help because it's bugging my butt that I cant work out what it means!
Cheers Saria xx
Well saying "Uncle" has been a long standing term of "giving up".
The fact that she added the periods has me thinking I could be wrong...and instead, its some hip new teenybopper lingo that has flown over my head too...
I agree with Foxx that it does mean to "give up".
I went to AskJeeves.com and it said it meant ...UNCLE stands for United Network Command for Law and Enforcement... so it could probably mean just about anything ,,, and probably is some new teen lingo like u said.. god if its some new teen lingo then i feel really old now... :P
Oh lord. I am with Foxx also. Uncle means they give up.
Awe what a shame I had to edit my post.......
O.k. thanks all very much. Just as well I wasn't rude back or anything eh?..lol ;D

It was probably a wise decision on your part. O0
Old timers will remember a TV show called Man From U.N.C.L.E
i use to watch that all the time lol. And David McCallum that played Illyan Kuryakin in The Man From U.N.L.C.E. Now plays Duckie in NCIS.
i'm 18 and it is definitely not any teen lingo so it has to be what the others said
