The action bubbles over in this game of match or be outmatched! Make matches of four or more disks while blocking your opponent from making their connections. Can you plan ahead well enough to stay afloat?
• Connect five or more disks for big bonus points!
• Blast away blocks to thwart your opponent or set up a big match for yourself.
• Set off a chain reaction to end the game in one move!
• Clearing disks creates blocks and destroys your opponent's disks!

i think its an error. bloop was in major testing yesterday so i think the 5/9 date was for the beta sight

As stated elsewhere on the forum, the 5/9 date only displays when you're not signed in. The game itself is only in beta test mode and isn't available on Pogo to play yet. You can bet that unless you see a "BLOOP IS OUT NOW!!!!" type topic, it's not out yet!

Here is a tip I was told: play 10 point games and remove the blocks. You move up in progress based on your total points at the end of the game so 10 point games allow you to score more than 1 a game if the computer gets all "tricky" on you, plus the blocks are a pain in the azz when the computer moves 'em on you. You'll progress like lightning this way.

Well it says win a certain type of game... I think they're still working on the game because one of the option is to see the other person's hand and unless seeing the hand means "watching as they choose their move", I don't see a reason for that option.

I'm only rank 7 but I saw someone with rank 38 a few moments ago. Blu saw this person too and we all had a fun filled conversation in the lobby about this person and their "red" ranking from rated games (all wins) against someone who hasn't won yet. :))

The table part won't load for me :'( I see no tables.
Try using a temp room I had the same problem in a named room but in a temp room it would load the tables for me or click on pratice with robots that should work too. It didnt matter which browser I used either tried netscape, IE and firefox...no blockers loaded either still couldnt play in a named room for some reason, others are having the same problem too.
Anyone find out what you have to do to get the special Bloop badge yet???

Wonder what the special blooop game is?
the special badge for Blooop has already been posted and that's in the "News - Check it out!" and I was told you're supposed to get some kind of chain.. the longest chain I've had is seven and no badge, so not sure if that's correct or not..
and if you're having trouble, give a Club Pogo guest pass to one of your names and use Firefox to double browse.. makes you get 10 points every time, so it goes quicker for ranks.. I won't need an auto for this whatsoever

also when you click the numbers of the points you have it makes bubbles come up.. ive clicked like every sq. inch of space on there thinking maybe it was like a hidden button or something, but still nothing :(

i have cleared the board and no luck. The thing is, it says it's a special kind of
game, not something you do in a game, so I wonder if you have to maybe win a rated game with two master's ratings or something? I am at a loss.
well i am 220 points away from a masters rating and ive won 10-0 a crap load of games and ive been playing nothing but rateds so idk.. but i did notice that the expert rating has different kinds of balls haha.. maybe there is something different about the masters but i still dont think thats what it is.. who knows.. but hopefully someone figures it out soon, its driving me nuts.

When you look at the Game Awards Badge Album, it shows 6 (six) different Blooop badges. 5 are the ones we know about and one says it's a secret badge you can only get by winning a secret game. We don't know what that secret game is and we're trying to throw out suggestions on what the "Secret" game may be.

how does it look different?
instead of being a normal plain circle, it has another circle inside of it... and slightly diff color depending on if your green or yellow at the time.... kinda like a mini bulls eye...
that is another game that will take me a long time......

The auto blooopage will not click the play again button! Drives me nuts! Hate spending money on an auto when you have to baby it! >:( >:( :o

its basically connect 4 (or more) and to mimic him...always place your playing peice on topof his.. he'll lead you into larger rows. When I get the chance I'll capture a screen shot

i found that if you mimic every move the computer makes....you'll rank fast. he'll always win the game, but its worth it. I just made it to rank 10 in about 30 minutes doing it that way. Play on a 10 point game as well.
When you mimic him, you'll always have +2 points for each match you make.

its basically connect 4 (or more) and to mimic him...always place your playing peice on topof his.. he'll lead you into larger rows. When I get the chance I'll capture a screen shot

Sanks you for taking the time to post your opinion and observation. However, I did not know that asking a few questions would translate into me patronizing you. If asking some questions is rude, then I'm a very rude person because asking questions is what I (and other people in the world) do. Yeppers we've tried it. Every option possible have been tried and until someone get rank 50, we can only sit here and wait.

For those of you that are having a hard time with the game. I have found a way to win almost every time. How do I put a screen shot on here?
I couldn't tell ya but someone will tell you hold on for a minute.
I'm going to try to explain it.
I play with the robot and play for 3 pts.
All of my plays are on a stack of 4 blocks building up.
1st turn: place disc
2nd turn: place disc
3rd turn: move a block up
4th turn: place disc
5th turn: place disc
6th turn: place disc
7th turn: move the block from the 3rd turn up again
As long as the computer doesn't build on a stack of 4 blocks you don't have to worry about him.

How do you do a screen shot? A screen shot is just a picture of your screen. There are a number of screen capture wizards out there that you can download, but the easiest thing to do is: On your keyboard, hold down the "Ctrl" button and press the "Prt Scr" button. That takes a picture of your screen and saves it to your clipboard. Next, open up one of your graphics editors such as Paint. Then, just paste it in ("Paste" is usually one of the options under "Edit"). Save this image as a bitmap (.bmp). The go to https://imageshack.us/index.php and upload your image. Copy and paste the url into a message on the forum and highlight the url. Then click the insert image icon. It's right above where you type inyour post in row 2 the second icon. It looks like a picture. Then post it and you are done.
Be sure to erase any sn's from your screen shot. We do not allow pogo sn's to be displayed in the forum.

Well, making it to 'master' level is NOT the secret.
I won several rated games after making master level and nothing! (The discs didn't even change.)
No new game options and nothing new in the game itself. Oh well, I guess I'll get back to work to get to rank 50. Maybe that's it. ???
I'm starting to think you get this badge after you get the rank 50 badge...like you play the game after rank 50 and when you win you the speical badge

Bot always goes vertically, so as he placing his thingies, start going across, till he gets 3 vertically, then throw one of yours to stop him. bot will keep going to top.
when you get 3 horizontally, he will move a block and bring you down. dont let it phase ya...its a good thing lol. if you can get them 4 of yours a row or two down, that is how you make the 10 across, and once the origional 4 disapear, another row drops..then right side disapears, and lights up left side, =goes back an forth. so with the 4 dots u can get like 6 moves in, in 1 shot.
As for anyone having the badge, i been looking but nothing yet. got one peep on buddy list in mid 40's rank, so ill be peeking here n there.

If I'm there and see it I'll be more than happy to tell you. This is unconfirmed but it's rumored that after the final rank there is a special game you get to play that gives you the badge. This has not been confirmed though.

yep i have a buddy on list thats been rank 50 all day, so not thinking its that. it did say special game..im thinking like they did in poppa zoppa, the 36 chain. something along lines of that. i know for sure its not clearing all blocks, filling whole board without 1 point. i was thinking today might be having something to do with the point games..i mean who would bother playing a 1 point game?...
seems silly to me, but im thinking like win a game each of the 1 point, 3 pt. 5,7 10. or something along lines of that.

use junk blocks, his timer is set for 45 seconds. He said it has to do with table settings and something that happens in the game. Oh, and doesnt have to be rated or under certain "level" ie master tab

You have to play a 2-player game on 1 pt in masters. It appears if you make a match of 5, you get the badge.
When you're ready to make your match of 5 (and it'll be your turn) get the person to stand up.
Play your coin thingy and you should win.
At least that's how it worked for me a few minutes ago.

Well, I just got mine, with the help of someone in a master room. If you go over there, I'm sure that someone will help - there are a lot of folks over there. Or you could just double browse.
I have to say it's a little disappointing now that it seems so easy to get. I guarantee that everyone on Pogo will have this badge by the end of the week. Something really challenging, like the 36 chain badge in Papa Zoppa would have been better. Although, without help or double browsing, I don't think you could ever win a 2/0 game agains the master level computer.

Yeah i am in that room..... i got the badge in a master room 1 pt game, 2 minute forfeit timer. I went first to get 5 in a row...they stack theirs up in a corner. Then stood and let bot sit then i took the point .. I got the badge..BUT i tried it again with someone else and it didnt work so now i am off again to see if i can figure out the magic touch to this .

I think it's about luck now because anyone could win the badge a few hours ago, then when it reached midnight, people were having more difficulties trying to help others win. If it's a glitch, everyone needs to get there and get theirs before Pogo fixes it or you may never see it.

Oh let her come to my table. What's the worst that can happen, I have my temporary name banned? I'm using one of those free one week accounts, which is why I'm giving away the screen name so I'm not worried. And if they IP ban me, all that means is that I can't play @ work and while I might miss it, it wouldn't hurt me at all. It would actually force me to get my work done instead.

my friend got his badge too.it was just the room he was in that it wasnt working i guess.he changed rooms and got it fast.
1. you must play in a master room
2. you must win against a bot
3. must be a 1 point game
4. must UNCHECK use junk blocks
5. and this is VERY important.. the timer MUST be on 2:00 BUT be unchecked!! so set the timer to 2 minutes BUT UNCHECK IT!! dont ask me why, it just is LOL....
6. UNCHECK allow players to replace computer player
7. CHECK allow watchers
8. UNRATED game
basically there should be NOTHING checked on the settings pop up except allow players to watch game. make sure the timer is set on 2 minutes but UNCHECKED..
If you get someone to help, it takes 30 seconds.
Now you can sit there and try to win a one point game against a master room bot but this might take awhile because they are very very good at this game lol.. your best bet is to have a friend in there with you and RIGHT before you score your one point have your friend stand up so a computer bot can sit down. as long as the computer bot is the one you are playing against when you score the point you will get the badge.. So just have your friend place theirs where they wont score and after your friend makes their last move before YOUR TURN where you can score the 1 point... have them get up and replace them with the bot...

btw the timer doesnt have to be 2.00 ..it can be 45 secs

BH has great instructions about the badge on their site for the Bloop Helper Agent.
I got mine in 10 seconds. Set up one move, then had Bot replace my helpful family member. :)
I thought they were CHANGING the badge to look more like the other marbles? Is there any chance that there are TWO " special" badges?
BTW, when using the Bloopage auto, what are the best settings to advance quickly? I am using:
Bot
Private room usually in Social or Beginner
1 point games
no blocks
no timer
Auto set to about 10 seconds worth of thinking time per move and 24 megs of memory with Threading and Priority checked.
If this needs to go to technical, I understand. Sometimes there is an overlap....

i stopped playing for awhile, i played by hand until like rank 30 and then I started DBing and then i just started not having any interest in playing, now ill have to make a new name to give a pass too to finish the game or let the auto run for awhile then DB again..

Just go to the Masters room. People are always helping others get the badge in there.

im doing by hand as well. find this game terribly easy and boring
it is easy but needing to get over 100 is a pain..it seems to take longer and now it is getting boring...i dont wanna get the auto but...i do that with a lot of games get to a certain point and get bored cuz its taking so long and then don't end up finishing the game. :(

I'm surprised they went through and changed the badge in everyones album. This one looks better than the elmo one. I thought all the people that already got the elmo badge would just keep it.
My guess is that some intern at Pogo accidentally put a future weekly challenge badge (Elmo badge) in the slot for the 'special bloop badge' (Pearl badge), and now he is cleaning toilets or something. :o :P

i thought i should post this in case this is helpful for any of you in advancing ranks but i found an easy way to get a lot of points... you can set the table however but make sure you have junk blocks. double browse with another name and then start the game. you need to set the blocks like i have in the picture which i hope works and then drop the block that i colored in red. if you do this correctly you can easily get 7-10+ points in a game and makes the ranks go a lot faster. hope this helps!

If you have not yet earned the Secret Blooop badge and want to figure out how to get it by yourself, then read no further! However, if you are someone who loves badges, but hates secrets, then you'll want to read on!
To earn the Secret Blooop Badge, enter an Expert or Master room and play the AI in a 1-point game without junkblocks. Remember to unchecek the "Allow players to replace computer players after the game starts" in the Table Settings. Defeat the AI and you will receive the Blooop Secret Badge.

My guess would be that since we are all calling it the "baby" elmo badge, Pogo got really scared about copyright infringement (oh my) and changed the badge icon.
It really did look like elmo!
Also, I just look REALLY close at the new "pearl" badge which replaced elmo......looks like the pearl is just covering elmo's face :-\

i am not sure if this was posted anywhere.... i was in a room where people was playing like 25/26 .....i tried watching i just couldnt get the hang of it is there anyway someone that is doing it or knows how to take a screen shot so i can do it while double browseing?

Instructions to win a 25/26 or 26/27 point game:
Okay, I see how they're doing it. It's a long process, too.
You have to fill in rows 1 - 3 top to bottom, skip row four, fill in five, then go back to four and fill it up until both sides have 8 points. Or you can do 9 and clear the board completely before you redo the steps.
Then go back to row 1 - 3 and fill them top to bottom again, same with skipping four and filling up five.
Then you fill up 6 and 7 after 5 is filled, leaving four still open.
Then skip row 8 and fill row 9. Then fill row 10. Leave the last space in row 10 open. Then you fill four - don't match pieces (yellow to yellow or green to green) or it'll f*ck it up.

Yeah, you're right. It takes like two minutes to do a 10 point game if you're playing against yourself... the 26 point game takes much longer, but you get bigger token payouts. I can't seem to get the 26/27. I don't remember how they did it, I thought it was the same way, but it's not... so I'll have to test it out. It's like playing three games in one, so if you calculate it you're basically spending almost the same amount of time in a 25/26 point game when you play 3 10 point games.
But you don't have to do it with a bot. I'm doing it with my last guest pass and I moved up like 17 ranks on that one name and only like two on my main one because of the increase in how many points you need, but I should have rank 40 by tomorrow hopefully. Blooop is starting to bore me, that's why I gave up on it a bit.
Okay, erm... I figured out how to do it, but it's not really worth it. It's only one point - all it does it give you like 45 extra tokens, but you do it basically the same way:
You fill up rows 1 - 3 completely, skip row 4 and go to five.
When you're in row 5, you have to leave two spaces open at the top of this row or it won't work.
After the two spaces are left open, you'll go back to row four and start filling that in and make matches so you get 2 points until you score 8 on both sides, then you drop the last two pieces to give each player 9 points.
Then you do the entire thing over for what you'd do to get a 25/26 point game.
i just played bloop trying to get the secert badge and won 3 games and didn't get credit for it is there any cheats out there to help me get the darn thing i played the games in the master tab and a 1 point game and won but got nothing :OO >:((
if you didnt get credit for it, try again. >:((
theres always a bunch of people in master rooms helping people. you will get it eventually.

You have to play a 2-player game on 1 pt in masters. It appears if you make a match of 5, you get the badge.
When you're ready to make your match of 5 (and it'll be your turn) get the person to stand up.
Play your coin and you should win. Use these settings below when you set up your Blooop game:
1. Play in a master room
2. Play against a bot (start with real person and finish with a bot)
3. Play 1 point game
4. UNCHECK use junk blocks
5. UNCHECK allow players to replace computer player
6. CHECK allow watchers
7. UNRATED game
Basically there should be NOTHING checked on the settings pop up except allow players to watch game. make sure the timer is set on 2 minutes but UNCHECKED..
Now you can sit there and try to win a one point game against a master room bot but this might take awhile because they are very very good at this game. Your best bet is to have a friend in there with you and RIGHT before you score your one point have your friend stand up so a computer bot can sit down. as long as the computer bot is the one you are playing against when you score the point you will get the badge.. So just have your friend place theirs where they won"t score and after your friend makes their last move before YOUR TURN where you can score the 1 point... have them get up and replace them with the bot...
I got mine with doing 4 in a row, not 5.

It only took me 4 days to do the last 10 ranks. Thats not very long. I double broused about 2 hours a day then ran the auto the rest of the day. It is much faster to gain rank if you double brouse. You can get 11 points every 2.5 min.

Its not as fast as wonderland, but it does go pretty quickly. Rank 0-40 in 3 days ... 40-50 took me almost 3 days. BUT it was the only game I was working on for the last 10 ranks.

17 goes by quicker. I timed it with a friend before. You could finish two 17's in the time of one 26/27. So you're actually getting more points if you play quick enough. Two 17's = Each of you score 33 points, compared to the 26 or 27. The extra 6 or 7 points can make a big difference.
It takes a long time for the blocks to fall to make it 9-9. That's what makes the time difference.
i tried it today and the seventeen point games did get me moving up faster.
Luckily I'm done with this game. ;D I was just used to the 26/27 pointers, so that's what I stuck with.

i did like 25 ranks by hand when the game first came out then i double browsed to get to rank 35 and i got to 36 with this badge .. ive been wanting to db some more to get my rank 40 and eventually 50 but ive been distracted by new and other games
ive gotten to rank 35 by hand, and got the badge this morning in no time...there were lots of helpers when i did mine, very quick badge....

Okay ... Master Rooms ... 1 point game, no Junk. They put theirs on one side .. you put yours on the other .. Just before you drop your last thingie for the 4 in a row - Have them stand and let the tin man join.

I tried that, and dunno - Must be doing sumthing wrong. How to you make it 5 in a row, cuz at 4 you get a point. How do you make it five. Cuz the only way I can is by placing a block in between....feeling really blonde *no offence to anyone* giggles *

Yeah...We were placing two on the bottom, and leaving a space, then placing two more...then on my turn she would stand up and I would let tin man join and make my move and still no badge. Am I doing it rite?? and yes it was under masters, 1pt game an no junk.

For you .. Try doing .. two .. space .. three - Then go back and put one in the space. I think you're doing it right -

Ok I just tried what was mentioned before after all, and my friend got hers actually by using only 4 LOL so I guess 4 does work, but we tried getting mine and nothing work'd and we were trying for me to go first. I will try again tomorrow with using the settings shown in that post. Thx alot for sharing...will try tomorrow maybe if I can find a partner as the person I play with will actually be here LOL.
