Title: Problems with my Bloop auto
Post by: Tamara on May 26, 2006, 10:13:12 AM
Specs are:
Windows XP
Tried both IE and Firefox
32 bit color
1024 by 768
Smooth edges unchecked (but then checked it and didn't make any diff.)
Sun Java
Bloop auto
Version 1.0

The problems I'am having are as follows:Auto is running very, very slow. It takes about 45 mins. to complete each game (unless this is the norm). I also noticed that in the settings area of the auto the default is set to Maximum Memory-22 (would it make a diff. by changing that number?) I even increased the Click Speed a bit and made no diff.
Also, after EVERY 10 point game, I have to click the 'Play Again' button and also have to click the 'Start New Game' button right after clicking the play again button.. In the instructions it says that this auto can be run all night  but am wondering how it can run all night when the auto doesn't click to start a new game. I realize that this is a brand new auto and am wondering if anyone else are having these problems specified above? and any suggestions on how to correct this? I have e-mailed badgehelp but haven't heard anything yet. Thank you to you all that have any suggestions.

Now this is EXACTLY how you describe a problem with an auto. I applaud you.

Hi all. Just wanted to let you all know that there is an update for the Bloop auto. Received an e-mail back from badgehelp stating.."There will be an update in 15 mins." and that was at 2:00 I received it. :)

It's amazing how simple it is to report a problem when you have one. Most people come here and just go off on something thinking they telling the whole world will solve the problem! This was another example of following directions to get the assistance needed. Good job all in this topic.

It's what's on the inside that counts. Now let's move to another thread before I have to spank myself. LOL

Just to keep this on topic the auto got me 22 ranks last night!

I didn't change a thing. I used whatever the default settings were and played 10 point games with no blocks. ;)

Took about 8 hours to get to rank 22. O0

PLEASE,
Would one of you who is having your auto " scream" through the ranks please post your game and auto settings?
I've gotten to the upper 30's ranks and it is getting to be r-e-a-l-l-y slow going.

<3 Thank you so much in advance.

It does get much slower. I advanced 1-22 in my first day. 30-50 are much harder as you need more points to advance to the next rank. I am up to rank 43 so far. Not bad for the game only being out for about a week.

Homer Baby,
How do these settings seem to you? I really have no idea if I have the game and auto set for optimal cheating and badge snagging or not, LOL.

I am playing:
Bot only in private room
Usually in a Social or Beginner room
NO junk blocks
No timer
Game Point Setting: 1 (one) per game

Auto settings: 15 seconds per move, 24 megs of memory with both Multi- threading and Priority checked.
Click speed- Almost to full left ( fastest). Works fine for me at this speed.

Should I change any of my game or Agent settings for a faster/ better  gameplay?

Like you said, this is such a new game AND a great new Agent that I am not sure what settings make the game ZOOM. :)
I'm very happy with my game progress overall. It's certainly not Bloopage's fault that Pogo added a chunk 'o points to the upper ranks, LOL.

Thanks,

Thank you, Homer!!
Sometimes, when the program is going to pretty much work consistently well and is stable, it helps to know how to configure things. :)
I appreciate the info a lot. O0
