Title: Squelchies
Post by: PattyCakes on May 31, 2006, 09:02:05 AM
I have ElchieEater 1 - it won't start a new game when the screen comes up asking if I want to play again.  It also does not move the bucket to catch the little things at the end of the game for extra points.

I wouldn't know what to tell you, because my auto for squelchies is called Sushi. I got mine from Badgehelp.  :o

EE has never (for me, at least) done the bonus round (the part with the bucket). I've not tried the new auto, so I can't recommend it. However, I've never had a problem with it starting a new game. So, hopefully someone can help you. Good luck!

There is no support for Elchie Eater. You will need to get Sushi.

Same as Pogokaz.....have Squelchie auto....starts game just fine, but does not do the bonus round (bucket just sits there).

However, since I only use autos when I can "babysit" them, I do the bonus round by hand!

It really doesn't matter.  All badges (personal, game, and weekly) have to do with the squelchie rounds, so the bucket part in no way hinders your progress.

Yep, it's still buggy. Mine runs the little bucket all over the place, but drops rounds for no reason at all. IF I don't babysit it, sometimes it does not pick back up after it let all the Squelchies fall to the ocean floor in the previous round.
BH promised they had fixed the problem of the game not playing rounds, but just like the gates in the upper levels of Pop Fu, their claims are just a bit too good to be true.

Today, I decided to play Fortune Bingo. First it popped and unpopped every number, so I checked for a better version. There is one. Downloaded it, it played 3-4 games, now it just sits there and types out " Blackout" " Blackout".
At first, I thought it was sensing that I was playing a Blackout game.. Now I think it's telling me it's having a blackout.

And has anyone tried Perfect Pair Solitaire lately? That program can't do squat. I guess we will all have to play Lottso and QWERTY until they decide to fix all the quirks.

Luckily, I am getting better at Phlinx because the auto is dumb as dirt and an interesting challenge is upcoming.
Sorry, BH, but you are letting us down on some really OLD games lately!!!!!

Squelchies auto is another I haven't tried.  :-\

Perfect Pair auto was a pain in the ass when I tried the free version on my old computer, but that's probably because it's a ME edition. Luckily I have XP now.

When I tried the Perfect Pair auto on my old computer, it ate up so much memory on my hard drive that I had to reboot and didn't even finish the round.

Mr. S, try Matchmaker for PP Solitaire now and see what you think. You have to watch it struggle with a few games, get hung up when they turn a card into a monster, and restart game after game, OK?
Screen Shots to BH would be really nice.

They go to Joshua at badgehelp@aol.com :)

He is very nice, and a genius to boot.

I'll have to do that later. Right now I'm working on someone's challenges from here because she's due to give birth and expects to not be on, so I told her I'd finish her challenges. I'll probably do her one's for next week too depending on when she gets back.

k, tried it and it works great!  O0 I won all hands but two, but it'll still be the last game I work on since I'm only on rank 4.  :-\
