Did anyone watch this? I did!! I thought it was great. I went to bed at 9 and it was 11:30 before I watched everything I had recorded and I even skipped the commercials.
Ok back to rockstar, I can't remember who all I liked because I can't remember their names. I did like the first girl who sang Pinball Wizard, she had a good personality also, loved what she said to Tommy Lee after she sang about she likes to go first. :)))
There were 3 girls and 3 guys I liked. I would have to rewatch to see what their names are.

I really like the last guy who sang Rebel Yell, I hated that version of Roxanne and the guy who sang it. I also liked the Pinball Wizard chick and sorry but in my opinion that was a bad version of lithium. I don't think she even came close to Kurt's voice pitch when he screams in that song!

Oh gawd....I in no way meant to say that she sounded like Kurt...because no one ever will. Evah. However, I do think that she did a damn fine job of making it "her own", so to speak.

Reece would not elaborate on the reasons behind the split.
Former "Baywatch" star Electra and former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Navarro documented their 2003 wedding on MTV's "`Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave."
The sexy pair met on a blind date, and "it was love at first sight," Electra told The Associated Press during an interview in 2004.
Navarro currently co-hosts the CBS talent competition "Rock Star."

Lukas...I dunno about him anymore. I think he did a good job of acting just like Mick Jagger on that song...but his voice, which I thought was awesome on the first night, is always the same. There is no variance, no tone...He looks the part...although I hate the skunk stripe hair.
Toby...Hot, hot, and more hot. Normally really good...but that song? Sucks. It sucked when Dave Pirner did it, it sucks now. It seemed really sped up and weird, too.
Josh...I heart him. He would have a really fantastic voice if he didn't force it out his nose so much...but I loved the acoustic Nirvana...and the way he changed between the soft voice and the raspy one...I don't think they gave him enough credit. That's a tough song.
Zayra...I didn't hate it. That doesn't mean I liked it, though. Those last two high notes were pretty good, however.
Dana...I can't remember what she sang. Most times, I can't remember her name. That girl needs a hard core makeover. She's too cutesy to be the leadsinger. Straighten the hair...maybe ManicPanic it a nice royal blue...wear something that doesn't look like it was Britney Spears' hand-me-down and I might like her...she has a really good voice, normally. Although last night I think she was a little off...from what I remember.
Jill...I kinda hate her because I have been watching the reality webisodes and she is just a whiny bitch. But, I try to just focus on the performance...and she has a really solid voice, but again, like Dana...she needs to look the part a little more. Wear some frickin black. Put on some gooey eye make-up. Something. I just don't get "Rockstar" when I see her.

Phil, whom I despise...actually was pretty frickin fantastic. Storm...I love her. She's always great. I didn't think it was her best night...but she rocks.
Ryan Star...I can't not use his last name. I really didn't like the original Ryan Starr...and I don't much like this one either. Never impresses me. Voice? Really good. Performance? Blows.
Jenny....stomped all over one of my all-time favorite songs. I so would have preferred Josh sing that one. In fact, I was really mad at him for not picking it. Yuck. Somewhere, Brandon Boyd is shedding a tear.
Dilana...I hate that effing song. Dolores O'whatevertheeffhernameis reminds me of nails on a chalkboard. That being said, I effing loved this. Dilana totally made that song hers and erased all the memories of the 6 bajillion times I had heard it before. She so rocks. If she doesn't win, something is wrong with them....because ultimately, its coming down to her in the final with...I dunno yet.

The only one that really stands out is Toby. I think he will win.
I don't think Elvira will win because her performances are too much about her and the mysticism side of things. I don't really see that playing in her favor in the long run.

Have you heard the song "Pretty Vegas" by INXS? I know you don't like them but I thought you might of heard it or saw the video. The guy JD who won last year wrote that song. I loved it the first time I heard him sing it. When they get down to about 6 I think it was, they pick two people to write their own songs. I'm sure JD won because of his song, it was better than anyone else's. The guy who came in 3rd his name was Mig he was from Australia was my favorite. When they get to the last three, that is finale night.

Melbourne surfer, carpet store clerk and singer Toby Rand has become the favourite to win the reality TV show Rockstar: Supernova after sending female fans in the US into a frenzy.
Even infamous rocker Tommy Lee, whose sexual exploits have overshadowed his career as a drummer with Motley Crue, is impressed with the way Rand has been making women hyperventilate during the first two weeks of the show.
"The girls love him," Lee said during last week's telecast.
The winner of the reality TV show, which is shot in LA and aired around the world, including Australia, will become the lead singer of Lee's new all-star band, Supernova, which includes Metallica bassist Jason Newsted and Guns 'n Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke.
Rand is one of 13 remaining hopefuls, with two contestants eliminated in the first two weeks of the show.
The 28-year-old blond from St Kilda has made it clear he is up to the challenge of touring the globe with notorious ladies' man Lee.
"It's obvious the girls like you," Lee told Rand after he performed The Killers hit, Somebody Told Me, to a frenzied audience of mostly female fans.
Rand cheekily smiled back and said: "That's lucky, because I like girls".
His rendition of Somebody Told Me was so good Lee asked Rand to do an encore.
Rand, who quit his job at a Melbourne carpet store to pursue his dream of leading Supernova, won his invitation to LA after auditioning with hundreds of other hopefuls in Sydney earlier this year.
Other auditions unearthed 14 contestants, all unknown singers, from the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, South Africa and Iceland.
Each week the contestants sing a song in front of a live audience and viewers from around the world vote.
The three lowest vote getters then stand before Lee, Newsted and Clarke, who critique and then boot one off the show.
Rockstar Supernova is the series sequel to last year's search to find a singer for the Australian band INXS.
It found Canada's JD Fortune and despite sceptics, revitalised INXS - which had been floundering since the death of lead singer Michael Hutchence.
Rand is well known in the Melbourne music scene for his band Juke Cartel.

Anyways, here's a article of last weeks show, it's long so I'm sure only fans of the show will even read it.
I wanted to mainly point out this, because we are talking about Zayra.
To be sure, Zayra is the most fascinating performer on the show, not because of any discernible talent, but because viewers watch with anticipation and dread to see how she'll go off the rails each week. On Tuesday's performance show, she butchered Blondie's ''Call Me,'' though, on the plus side, she wore a slinky, skintight superheroine jumpsuit that appeared to be made of blueberry Fruit Roll-Ups.

Ok, I will try to watch some tonight. I don't guess that I have ever seen a webisode either, I will have to check it out and see what I have been missing.
Oh...the webisodes are great...its all the "behind the scenes" stuff that they give you little clips of on the regular show...but way more intense! It gives you an interesting perspective on the "canidates". Like, for example...Lukas doesn't work well in a team setting...and that may not make him the best for the band, etc.

As for Tuesday...I really liked Ryan. He has been growing on me in the last two weeks and I thought he was awesome. He brought an intensity to the song that Michael Stipe never did...and he only had a piano to help him. Good Stuff.
Awesome: My girl Storm, Dilana (although I HATE that effing song), Magni (how effing sweet is it that they're gonna fly his wife and baby over?) and I also thought Dana did really well.
Meh: Toby (he's starting to lose me as a fan) and Patrice. Her hair was fun, but I was kinda just...meh. Tommy did a fantastic job though!

Ryan... I dug the whole Depeche Mode vibe. His vocals were great. Not my favorite from Ryan...and the black stripe on his face was just a bit much.
My Girl Crush, Storm...Good lord she's beautiful. 37 frickin years old! Thought this was great...loved the arrangement and her voice is awesome...love her.

Patrice...after watching the original songwriting clinic performance, I have newfound respect for her. She and Josh's songs were the only ones I would ever listen too again...anywho...Instant Karma is like one of the greatest songs evah and she did such a good job. Little rough in the beginning...but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lukas...whatever. They make it seem like he is the second coming of Lennon or Harrison or someone. He did not impress me at all, except for those two notes in the almost end. Yuck. I am so tired of the attitude from him.
Toby...way to redeem yourself man. Loved, loved, loved it. Loved the Megaphone...loved your hotness...loved it. Though Dave was a little rough in his critique.
I have to say...after Jill and Pickles, Jr. leave...I will have a rough time with anyone (except Lukas, who is going nowhere) leaving. I so love this show. I think it has surpassed AI in the fact that mostly everyone is really talented...and I have lots of favorites. Oh, and the format is so much better.

Foxxy? I just watched and I didn't see Storm kiss Tommy. The only people I saw kiss were the strangers at the party.
I saw last weeks recap, then I saw Toby and Lukas pass out at 10:30. :)) I saw Toby run his naked azz around the pool and jump in to get to sing the song he wanted. I saw crazy azz Dilana put water in Lukas's belly button while he was asleep, and tie Toby's legs up while he was asleep. :)) I saw Zayra act an azz and I hope she goes home tomorrow.

Foxxy? I just watched and I didn't see Storm kiss Tommy. The only people I saw kiss were the strangers at the party.
I saw last weeks recap, then I saw Toby and Lukas pass out at 10:30. :)) I saw Toby run his naked azz around the pool and jump in to get to sing the song he wanted. I saw crazy azz Dilana put water in Lukas's belly button while he was asleep, and tie Toby's legs up while he was asleep. :)) I saw Zayra act an azz and I hope she goes home tomorrow.

Ryan has totally grown on me. He is one smart puppy. You can kinda tell he's always thinking about something...and he is very observant. He did seem to have a great time at that party though...he surely had enough women hanging off of him!

I didn't like Storm last night. The whole time she was singing I was looking at her with a confused look on my face. Dilana, Ryan and Toby were my top 3 and my bottom 3 have to be...ummm

Zayra: I want to smack myself for saying this...but I really enjoyed that performance. I think she was pretty crafty in fighting for the original...she has to realize that she is not right for this band...but, she got to showcase what she is actually good at. It was really pretty...and that skirt? While I would not have paired it with JUST A BRA...was awesome.
Magni: Starman is a great song. Last night? It seemed like a really long, boring song to me. He has a fantastic voice, no doubt about it...but that was not my favorite Magni performance. He's starting to dress better (finally) and commands the stage well...
Patrice: I so love this song. Great song to sing "stripped back". There is something so sad about her though. Its like she knows she will never make it into this band, and so she just gave up. That could have been fantastic, but she sucked ass instead. Bye Patrice...it was nice knowing you...
Lukafer: Ew. I hate him more and more as the weeks go by. His voice sounds like he takes a cheese grater to his effing vocal chords before each performance. He mugs at the camera like Constantine. Storm: I so love her. I thought she did a lot of very cool things with a chitty song. She's got such an amazing range to her voice and I just want to whisk her away from this competition and introduce her to Mike Patton. Then they could have babies with extraordinary stage presence and tremendous voices. Oh, and they'd be little cuties too...For Dave to shoot her down like he did...uncalled for. He has never been that hard on a contestant before. Just because Carmen doesn't wanna eff you anymore doesn't give you the right to be a giant ass. Grrrrrr....
Toby: Hated it. With a passion. Solsbury Hill is one of the prettiest songs ever. There is so much depth and emotion to that song...and Toby karaoke'd it. Blech. Its a good thing I like to look at him because I would otherwise so want him gone after that.
Ryan: Intense. That's the only adjective I can come up with for him. I thought he was effing fantastic last night. Definitely best of the night.

lmao...I finally finished watching the webisode last night and I nearly peed myself laughing at Lukas and Toby making fun of Dilana's falsetto! She really did sound like a wounded animal!

Since no one else has posted this, I found this on another site and this is their post:

Dilana was the only one who never hit the bottom 2 at any point. The final bottom two were Toby and Magni.
Toby sang White Wedding and did really well on it, Magni sang Fire and also did well. Magni was the first to be cut.
Then Lukas sang Bittersweet Symphony, Dilana sang Zombie, and Toby sang Somebody Told Me. Toby actually did the best of the three, so it was a little shocking for everyone when he was cut next. It's all good - he didn't seem to be too terribly upset with it and he's definitely going back to Juke Kartel.
They went to commercial and then let Dilana go. It was kind of sad because when they said Dilana's name, she thought she had won it at first. Poor girl. I think it was the line from Jason about how they had to listen to the people - and since she wasn't in the B2 at any point and Lukas was, she assumed it meant she got the most votes...um, no. Apparently Lukas got the most votes of the night.

Did anyone notice that they didn't say the word "supernova" tonight when they introduced themselves? That is because I saw on MTV site that they lost their lawsuit and now have to change their name.
I didn't watch it. I think they're gonna suck anyways. :-\

This is what we missed watching this summer..They didn't come up with a new show. Maybe because Brooke Burke just had a baby. :-\
