Title: Different Rooms for Challenges
Post by: Libra on July 08, 2006, 10:48:00 AM
Ok, maybe it's just me, but it seems that some rooms are better to play in than others, espcially during challenges.  For example, I started in the Amazing Mini's room in Lost Temple for my badge, and was getting no where fast.  Then, I switched to the Southern Hospitality room and got six, 4 of a kind or better right off the bat. It also happened when I did my Ma's badge and it happened again while helping my friend with her badges.

Do you think it's possible that Pogo sets some rooms to get the challenges easier than others?  Or am I nuts? Ok, we know I'm nuts, but in this regard am I nuts?

Anyway, nuts or not, the Southern Hospitalty room is a good room to get the Lost Temple Poker badge.  It's not a club pogo room, so you gotta scroll down to the regular game rooms to find it.

Them first 5 or 10 Club Pogo Rooms seem to get you no where.   :-\

I also think some of the rooms are easier so if you are nuts then I am too, lol.  If I am having trouble in one room, I switch rooms until I find one that is easier.  ;)

Well, I know Pogo has said publicly that they don't "change" the games during challenges, and I know for a fact that this is a load of bull.  For example, anyone who plays Canasta against the bots KNOWS that the bots don't pick up the pile unless there is at least ten cards, right?  Well, during one of their challenges, the bots were picking up the pile after four or five cards. Thus, making the challenge harder.  Additionally, I don't play slots except for challenges, but I know people who do, and they've told me that during challenges the combos that you need to get come up easier than if they were NOT having a challenge.

So, I think that we're not so nuts.  It makes perfect sense that Pogo would make some rooms easier than others, if only just to screw with us.

they do make the challenges harder to get.personally i think they try to keep you in another game longer,so you might want to play that game more often.

I thought it was because Pogo wants to make more money.

For some reason the non member rooms or the rooms with less people always work better. At least for me it has.

I feel that way also.  I played all of canasta by hand.  The bots played much different during a challenge.
When Vaults of Atlantis first came out you could win some major tokens in there.  When you got upstairs the top prize was always big.  Not so any more.  Your lucky to break even now.

I think there are rooms that are easier than others, i definatly agree.
and im sure we're just not like thinking that because Pogo would do something like that
just to make us players mad, they like to watch us struggle in the hard rooms lol.

I'm not forum illiterate hehe, it just takes some looking around. But I was clueless as to what was going on this morning. I'm not into drama, so I try and stay away from it. I rather ignore the morons, not give them what they want.. "attention." ;)
