Title: My simple Bachelor meal...
Post by: RoadRUNNER on August 13, 2006, 12:16:43 PM
I am by no means a good cook, I do not even play one on TV.

Before  was married I was the king of frozen dinners. I did however have one thing I liked & ate often that was simple.

Big can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew. I made a whole box of instant rice. Mix the two together & make some crescent rolls. I like it....

When I am away...Mr. Foxx fixes himself batchelor chow too...

His is a can of Chunky Soup, the Sirloin Burger variety, over minute rice...with crescent rolls!  I don't really get the appeal of it...but I guess its a boy thing...lol...

When my wife & I got together, she had a son about 8 years old.

I used to make soup over rice. Usually something like cheddar cheese soup. Well, her son liked it. I never had a name for it. He insisted on knowing what it was called, so I named it BUG SOUP.

I can cook enough to get by, but that's about it. Although I did burn my boiled eggs last week, which caused me not to have enough eggs to make my famous meatloaf that the dog wouldn't even eat again. :)))
