ok I haven't made one of these in a while and I usually buy canned peaches...but my mom just had a case of fresh extremely ripe peaches given to her so she brought me a bunch.....I did the crust from scratch and then instead of crumb topping I criss crossed extra crust on the top....I put flour n sugar on bottom because mom told me that peaches get really watery....so after I sliced them (yes they are very juicy) I coated them with flour n mixed them before dumping them into the crust....I think I heard this helps to thicken the jucies ....I PRAY IT WORKS....has anyone else ever heard this...also I put foil on bottom of stove to help take up the mess thats gonna happen...lol
