Title: Jigsaw detective
Post by: who me? on September 09, 2006, 08:19:28 PM
Jigsaw detective  O+O which version is currently working?
2.0 they moved the o.k button I believe, but then I heard they moved it back.
So does anyone know which version is currently working correctly 2.0 or 2.1 ?

Hmmm I meant to say Sherlock for jigsaw detective   :-[

Sherlock works for me or did ...but J.D just sits there
I have my new puter and my trial version has expired I'm a 150 member and I don't know if I should go with the 2.0 or download the 2.1   :-\

Ahhh sorry Homer to clarify myself.
I haven't use it because the trial version expired since I heard they moved the ok button back to where it was before.
Isn't 2.0 where the ok button was and 2.1 where they moved the ok button too?
I wanted the version to where the o.k button is now so I don't have to have my 150 page reset if its the wrong one.

I don't know which version of Sherlock you need.

JD works for me in both positions.

Hmmm ..o.k thanks Homer I will fiddle with my computer settings to see if I can get J.D to work on mine.

I just downloaded the trial and it just sat there didn't move, so I will make a few adjustments and see what I get.

I went to my 150 page...seems I already had the code for one so I searched for it and found it.
Version 1.9 works like a dream with a few do overs occasionally. Think I'll keep this one for awhile.
I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it  O0

Jigsaw Detector 6.4 is performing well for me. I have done the last few months' puzzles with it as soon as they have been released. I set it on Fast and let it fly. Takes about a hour.
Occasionally it will miss a border piece, and has to start the puzzle over, but that's the only " glitch" I have found.

WARNING about a built- in feature of Jigsaw Detective:
This auto will NOT restart a puzzle if you stop it or touch your mouse  or touchpad for any reason while it is working. It is extremely sensitive. IF you stop or move the mouse while it is working, hit " New Puzzle" and leave the auto alone. It is very touchy and is the ONLY one I have found which will stop working if disturbed and not restart until a new puzzle is loaded.
