Title: Sneaky Tiki
Post by: Hesh on October 03, 2006, 02:08:42 AM
Does anyone else still have the problem of this bot trying to discard the same card it just pulled? All of my specs are correct but it still freezes when this happens. I haven't seen anything recently about this and was also wondering if BH is working on an update. Thanks!   <O>

Send a screenshot of the discard problem (in .bmp format)

If you can't get the Oklahoma going, you probably have smooth fonts enabled, to change that do this:

* if using Windows XP:
     1.  Right-click your desktop, then left-click "Properties".
     2.  Choose the "Appearance" tab up at the top.
     3.  Click "Effects..." in the next window.
     4.  UNCHECK the 2nd option "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:" so that it no longer does edge smoothing.
     5.  Click "OK".  It will back you out to the previous window.
     6.  Click "Apply", then "OK" to close out of THAT window.
     7.  You are finished.  Close any previously opened online game window, and start a fresh one.
* other Windows versions:
     1.  Right-click your desktop, then left-click "Properties".
     2.  Choose the "Effects" tab up at the top.
     3.  UNCHECK the 2nd option "Smooth edges of screen fonts" so that it no longer does edge smoothing.
     4.  Click "Apply", then "OK" to close out the window.
     5.  You are finished.  Close any previously opened online game window, and start a fresh one.

Screenshots, screenshots, screenshots. Nothing can be fixed if a screenshot is not submitted to badgehelp@aol.com

You only need to uncheck the second option.

My Tiki works great, except when a hand gets cancelled. It doesnt seem to know what to do then. It never presses OK.

I've discovered the best way around the cancel issue is to simply set up the game to allow knocking. In games where you can knock, you'll probably never have a cancelled hand.  O0

*** 10/09/06 UPDATE *** The new SneakyTiki is here. Version 1.7 has been released. This fixes the canceled hand problem. SneakyTiki has been updated to play "Oklahoma" option, "Aces Lo And High" and "Don't Allow Knocking" options. Jungle Gin will now play Oklahoma Gin even if smooth font edges are on and the discard and freezing problems should be fixed.
