$2.01 here, and with all the unrest in Iraq and such I'm afraid it's going to be a very long summer.
it's like about $1.65/gallion where i live
its €1.20 euro a liter where i live >:( :( :'(
For all those Americans who don't understand Euros and Liters, Sam is paying ~ $5.40 to $5.50 US per gallon.
I think we can all be thankful the Marxists haven't quite taken over everything in the US yet. Let the schadenfreude begin...

Actually its about $4.54 per gallon at €1.20 per liter.
;)
Hi Jeff,
I don't know how you arrived at the different figure. Did you remember to multiply by 1.2 for the €1.20 per liter ?
I am using 3.8 liters per gallon and 1.185 dollars per euro (from http://www.oanda.com/)
But either way, I think we can agree: Sam is paying out the whazzoo.

If we were all living Marxists socialism we would all be driving hydrogen powered cars that never break or fall apart during the first 20 years after production. The cars wouldn't cost a penny to purchase. Crime as we know it wouldn't exist. We would live in a classless society where everyone is truly equal (no not in the "We're American, and we have equality" hypocritical way). There would be no government to control the masses. We would be a self-governing people, all working for the betterment of our brothers and sisters, our friends, and our neighbors... I think we can all be thankful that the capitalist regimes still rule the world and run it with their iron fist...
Hi Fatkid,
You are being facetious. Right?
WTF are we doin in Iraq. Lets take their oil, refine it, and bring it back to the states to sell Cheap!!!!! We saved their country----They give us their f@#$%#g oil. America dont just save countries and kill regimes and evil dictators for nothing. Bush is already attacking other nations without very much provocation....WHY NOT LOOT.

We should send Bob Saget to North Korea to get their nukes. He is the devil.
Well there's a limited supply of gas that's why the prices are so high b/c they have gas. At least that's what i heard
LATEST NEWS.
i translate....
shell makes the prizes for gas higher. 1 liter gas is now €1.229 a liter, and diesel is now €0.875 a liter( in euro's)
and for all of you..... we are not living in a Marxists socialism country. its real democratic over here. its legal to smoke grass here ;)

Oops, forgot the exchange rate.... yep, sorry about that Bob.
Gas has conssitenly gone up over 2 $ a gallon but i dont care...
$2.12/gallon was the highest I heard recently and that was in San Diego.
its just a matter of time before all the oil is gone and our atmosphere is torn to shreds. Humanity ::)
The way I see it is there is no excuse for not having alternative fuel choices. Well other than the fact Bush and his buddies have to make their $$$ >:(
Sam,
Nothing about democracy prevents the foolish from voting the Marxists into power--especially in a multi-party democracy. Only a Marxist society would tax the productive members of society to provide prostitutes for the unproductive.
a_playa,
Apparently, you do not drive an F350. When I bought mine, my best friend predicted I would be able to pass anything but a gas station. At sixty cents a liter, it takes a hundred dollars canadian to fill the thing. At current prices, I am lucky if I can fill only one of its tanks for that price. lol
our gas is up to about $2.25 ??? i hate it!
Wow marti. What state is this? :o
Yea what good is money when the world is gone....Humanity is sickening
california...stanisalus county
Element,
You seem down. Cheer up, eh! :)
Humanity is not really any more sickening than any other species. Western society just has this whole self-loathing thing going on right now, and it's not healthy. The first world war ended more than 85 years ago; it's time for us to get over it already.
I was outside doing some yardwork this afternoon. The sun was shining. The air was warm. The leaves were opening. I could see some really tempting walleye from the end of my dock.
The world is still there, and it's not such a bad place.
Ahhh right in the heart of Cali :D
yup and im a poor college student who cant afford it! :'(
Yes Bob the weather was lovely today in my neck of the woods also. It was so nice I decided to take off from work tomorrow to enjoy the weather. BTW, I'm going fishing in a little bit. Fishing a cold beer out of my fridge that is. LOL ;)

We were at 80 degrees this last weekend and they are now predicting snow for Thursday. This isnt unusual for Wyoming. I miss my hot weather thats for sure... Summer = 3 months. Winter = 9 months.
Yeah you can have Wyoming in the winter. Brrrrrrrr. :P
$5.00 here were is th lowest gas prices near oregon but i live in prosser and sunnyside ???
$5 a gallon? I find that extremely difficult to believe.
i know
I would like to see proof. I don't believe gas is $5 a gallon in Oregon. I recently read an article that said the national average was $1.73/gallon with some places breaking $2 a gallon. Surely you can post a link to a news article on this because if it were true it should be in the national headlines.
gas here in Ohio is $2.05 a gallon right now. it sucks :(
at the cheap place here it was $2.23 when i filled up last nite.
i heard there are websites popping up to help you find cheapest gas in your city/town

try http://www.gasbuddy.com Click on your state, then you go from there.
I filled up this morning it was $2.00. While I was there they were getting ready to change it to $2.09. Not looking forward to these gas prices when I go on vacation in August.
May not be any vaction here this year, at this rate all the money would get eaten up paying for gas. Still wating for wordlife to show us where to go to find out more about these $5 a gallon gas prices in Oregon. ::)
Take the bus! It's so much cheaper... I've saved myself 100's of dollars in the 2 months that I've bought a bus pass... Or carpool... Then you cut the cost of gas into a fraction of the price... There are alternatives... Bike, run, car pool, city transportation...
Get a job with an airline. Relatives fly free. ;D

what airline is that??
I love flying, those peanuts/pretzels are delicious but I always seem to sit next to the most undesirable person on ever flight
I believe it works that way on every major airline. One of the perks they give you for working for them. ;)
Yep Homer your right!! I got a friend who works for an airline and her and her family all get to fly for free. Lucky them!
