I know that even in the United States people eat different things for good luck on New Years...What do you eat?

Being Pennsylvania Dutch, We eat Pork and Sauerkraut with Mashed Potato's on New Years day

lol i had leftover steamed shrimp & other finger foods from last night cause didn't feel like cooking what i'd planned, (had a slight headache lol). was gonna be ham & cabbage, tators, cornbread & beans but will cook it tomorrow  :)))

We like to switch it up every year, but this year we had ..

Baby back ribs, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots.

I know we had some kind of dessert but was I too full to even think about having any.



Edit : and yes, there was no room for Jello (It does happen!)
