Title: Vista Ultimate and Sun Java v.1.6 freeze-up problem

I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate and Sun Java v.1.6.0. Both pogo and sun seem to know there's an issue but not giving any real answers. Do you guys know how to resolve the games freezing problem? The ones that it's happened to me, so far, are Perfect Pair Solitaire/Lottso and Fortune Bingo. I would really appreciate any advice on this. Thanks!
Steps taken so far: deleted and redownloaded java/cleared java and IE7/Mozilla caches.All settings for BH autos are as they should be. Has anybody using Vista found a way around this?   :OO Thanks.

try putting your screen on classic view, we had the same problem with the ultimate and we put it om classic and it worked.

I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate and Sun Java v.1.6.0 and have no problems I let it run all day and night im now Rank 97  on lottso!! and I dont have it in classic view!

Some pogo games seem to freeze. I have XP and occasionally they freeze. I think this may be caused by either a hiccup in your internet service or pogo's game servers.

Thanks for the tips but nothing's working right. Perfect pair, which I need to do the premium challenge in, is the worst. I've seen this posted before. Everytime you make a match the screen freezes and you have to minimize it and wait like 5 seconds for it to unfreeze. I checked pogos help section and they don't even list Vista as a supported O/S. Grrrrrr.

Is the update for java version 1.6? That's what Vista uses by default and I can't find any updates.Could you please post a link or pm me with the update site? Thanks, I really appreciate it!  O0

Hello there, I too have Vista Ulimate and before I even went to install Java I tried pogo just to see if it would work, and it did.  Apparently there is a Java built right into the program or something.  So I didn't need to download java at all.  However I know my friend has the same thing and she downloaded java and now is having problems too.  I to date haven't downloaded any java and my pogo games (all of them) are working fine.  Hope this helps ;::
