Title: Fortune Teller
Post by: hrrs_g on March 07, 2007, 10:15:28 AM
Hi,

I am using the new version (4.9) of Fortune Teller.  It selects numbers not called and does not select all the numbers called.  Most of the time it selects enough numbers not called that I end up with a negative score for the game.

Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem?

If it's just me, any idea what I am doing wrong?

I am playing single card speedy games. but it also does this on the multiple card games.

Thanks for your input.

Homer,

Thanks for checking.  It must just be me then.   :'((

Once it called bingo based on numbers selected that were not called.  It called bingo 3 times in this game and I was kicked out of the room.

in another game it selected most all of the numbers on the game cards, then unselected them and with nothing but the free space selected and then called bingo.

my system is
Window XP SP2
used both IE7 and Firefox.. same results.
SunJava 1.5.0_11-b 03
Smooth Fonts unchecked (also tried it with Smooth Fonts checked)
Color 32 bit
Screen  1400x1050

I had similar problems with ver 4.8 but didn't use it much.

I am not complaining, just trying to provide information on this auto.  most of the auto's i use work great.

Homer,

I went through 3 games with the screen setting of 1024x768. (this setting is huge on a laptop)
I am still having the same results.

I played the 3 card slow bingo.
Game 1 out of 3 cards it chose 9 wrong squares
Game 2 out of 3 cards it chose 4 wrong squares
Game 3 out of 3 cards it chose 7 wrong squares

This does not count the numbers called that it did not choose.

The only good thing about this weeks challenge is the jackpot spin counts towards getting the badge.

Since no one else seems to be having this trouble it must be something on my end.  I have a lot of BH auto's most of which are really great.  For me this one just doesn't work right.

F.T works fine, for me in any rooms including speedy 6 cards.  If you come in in the middle of a game it usually covers all the
#'s, then goes back and uncovers the wrong ones,(that's how it works for me)   :/\

well, i just gave up on the auto and finished by hand.

with the jackpot points counting toward the badge it really didn't take that long.

it must just be something with my system.  i did watch the auto more closely and if O61 was called the auto would pick G51 instead, etc.

oh, well i only played bingo to get the weekly challenge badge.

I should know this but I dont play stupid Bingo often enough to remember.
Would someone who KNOWS for certain please post the type or types of Speedy games which Fortune Teller will not play, if any?

I've had it sit around and look at me when I join a game in progress no matter which type at times. Other times, no problems, it dabs away at the numbers. :)

Thanks!!
