I purchased Solo/SpadeMaid and keep getting a message stating that it can't find the game window. The game window and SpadeMaid are the only windows open at the time. I contacted BadgHelp and they responded only once but the problem continues. I wrote back and no further correspondence/ Perhaps they are busy...Don't know. I have re-downloaded the program and that doesn't help either. If I can't get the problem resolved I would rather go with (exchange) another program. I'm not in the habit of just throwing away $10.
...And Yes I did send the TSR file that BadgeHelp requested in their e-mail.
Here's my info:
1.) Operating system = Windows XP. (Service Pack 2)
2.) Browser = Internet Explorer. (and sometimes Opera)
3.) Color setting = 32 bit.
4.) Screen resolution = 1152 x 864
5.) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked?
6.) What Java = Opera, sun Java (I do most of my surfing with Opera browser. Maybe that's the problem. If so please explain how to change it.)
7.) What agent are you using = Solo - First Class Solitaire.
8.) What version number is this agent = 4.4
9.) What specifically is the problem = Please see above (Already explained)
Anyway, I did have success in running the trial version of the Spades agent.
I hope someone can help as I give up... :"
Here's the e-mail that I just got from BH:
"Thanks for the screenshot. We are now going to evaluate it. This may take a few days. We will have a working version out shortly that will fix your problem. Run your program and notice what version you are running. Keep checking the website for a newer version that should fix this problem."
That's very encouraging and I got the response within minutes after sending an e-mail with the TSR file attached. Prior to that I was sending e-mails without the requested file. Bottom line: Always, always send a current TSR file attached to your e-mail to BH or don't expect a timely response. O0
