My software quarantines it and then you can remove it.
What AV do you use?
I have clamwin. I ran that and thats where I found it. The only other thing I have is windows defender and I ran that and it didn't even find it. I know where the Trojan is. Is there some other software I should get? I downloaded the "Micrsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool June 2007" but it keeps sticking where the trojan is at and will not move beyond that point. I guess I am screwed. !@#$

If you still can't get rid of it..put the name of virus in a search engine, no doubt your'll get some info on it. Also try the removal tools in both normal mode and safe mode (safe mode sometimes does a better job). GL
Read this as well.

I did that and nothing came up but a hacker site. >:( I am about to shut down and see if the virus remover I got worked. I will start back in safe-mode. I found out that that is the best way to remove any virus. wish me luck!

if you still have trouble try going to majorgeeks.com.They specialize in virus/spyware removal and it's all free. You just have to sign-up, again...free.They'll give you detailed instructions on how to get rid of an "unremovable" virus. I used them years ago and they helped me with the same issue. Good luck. O0

i had a trojan virus thats doing what you did. i was able to eliminate it WITHOUT losing a thing on my PC! i wish i could tell you what i did, but i cant remember because it was a long time ago... :xx
Not sure if you fixed your problem yet, but according to my antivirus software site (Nortons Antivirus Software).
What you have is a worm (win32/Rbot) which is a family of backdoor Trojans that allows attackers to control infected computers. You got it by what Homer stated ( limeware) limeware is a peer to peer client and this worm runs on a IRC . All the names you told us are all the same family w32/sd bot,win32.HLLW.mybot, win32/Rbot, etc.
I see you don't have a paid antivirus software..but you should indeed invest in one ASAP.
The following links are from Norton Antivirus site, it tell's you all you need to know about what you have and how to remove it...problem is you have to buy that software (not free).
