:OO Fact, Fiction or Rumor. I heard in a game room that pogo is comming out with a program to disable all auto's forever.
I was wondering if this does happen will badge help be able to over come this obsticle?(spelling)
Honestly I personally think it's a rumor, really people using autos doesn't hurt pogo but in fact help them, and unless you claim a prize or go around with it on your forehead Pogo really doesn't do anything about it. If ya think about it, autos are making more business for Pogo, which means they're making more money, cause I know there have been a good amount of badges that i would have never purchased with gems (which cost $$) if I didn't have an auto for an added push such as for time requirements, or even games I HATE to play...so really if they ban autos they're only going to hurt themselves.
If all the people who use autos stop using Pogo for just one day can you imagine how empty it would get? The big word at Pogo is REVENUE - they do not care jack about autos other than prizes. They would love to be getting some of the money for the autos if they could. I do not think they would spend the time at this point unless they had done something in beta first and we would have certainly heard about it. I imagine they have even thought about having something pogo sanctioned since they have seen that the auto is not going to go away. They need to be spending their time on working on ID theft and trying to get people to stay at Pogo and developing those games instead of adding ranks on old ones.

This is the biggest pile of crap I've ever heard. Pogo does not need a program to prevent auto use. They can ban cheaters in virtually no time like they have done several times in the past. I believe pogo has finally realized that it is the cheaters providing enormous amounts of revenues to their site. I am a cheater and damn proud of it. My pogo account runs me about $250/year between badges, gems and subscription fees.
