LOL you have to check oruncheck when set up your game room. I'm guessing as I did the 50 ranks by hand no auto. It's not difficult by hand either.

To under knock in jin you have to play Oklahoma Jin, allowing knocking.

Did you ever find an answer?
I didn't see any optional settings for this auto.
For me the best way to get the underknock badge was to double browse.
Very easy that way!!!
