Disney Tram Crashes After Goofy Turn
Posted May 3rd 2008 5:59PM by TMZ Staff

It really wasn't a magic day at the Magic Kingdom yesterday: First, there was the suicide that TMZ reported, and -- on a completely different note -- a parking lot tram car slammed into a sign, shutting down tram service for a little while.

We've confirmed that an accident did occur, but being fairly low-speed, injuries to people were minor, though the car's lights were torn out. According to one poster on Disney nerd emporium Micechat.com, the tram may have taken an overly wide turn.

We called the Mouse House for comment, but haven't heard back. Anaheim PD says they weren't called to the scene.

LOL couldn't have been Jr, Jr was in VA. besides jeffy's nickname is 'Goofy" :)) :))  Besides these guys only turn left, you know that lol.  UPS drivers mainly make right turns and have daily routes programed that way.  :)))

Could not have been Goofy - I heard a rumor that Minnie was blanking Goofy so he was busy  :ooo

I was there yesterday and did not notice anything new with anyone concerning trams - same ole 14mph - same ole dropping you as far away from the escalators as humanly possible.

And about the Disneyland Hotel - unlike many hotels, it does  have a 13th floor. I remember that after the smoking laws took effect at the Park they made both the 13th and 14th floor the "smokers" floors including a smoking area on one of them.

Wonder if here in FL where have a state law about smoking if it pertains to hotels, prob'ly not.  But all resturants are non smoking. I wouldn't ever stay on the 13th floor knowingly, but then just cause it's not numbered as such the 14th floor is the 13th floor! :)))
